I tried the pasta pomodoro. The sauce was well seasoned, coated the pasta nicely, and had a great sweet taste of fresh tomatoes. The pasta was very underwhelming, clearly not fresh and quite overdone. When your charging £4 for a simple dish most people can cook well at home, I feel like you should have perfected it!

Overdone pasta for a quick and tasteless meal. That's why it's quick. They pre-cook pasta in the morning and heat it up before serving it. Clearly they don't understand that "cooking" something doesn't just mean "heating" it up. There's a chemical process involved when cooking. You can't just re-heat stuff at leisure. The place isn't Italian and doesn't cook Italian otherwise it would be called "Cocco di Mamma" instead of "Coco di Mama".. They just cook pasta, but the way they want.. So disappointing! The gluten free pasta was seriously overcooked so it was falling apart. This meant a claggy, sticky pot of pasta for lunch. The sauce was quite tasty but there wasn’t enough to cover the pasta, plus they added an inexplicable sprinkle of large dried chilli flakes to the top. Fine if you like chillis I guess but otherwise pretty unpleasant and difficult to pick off (also not mentioned on the menu so I couldn’t ask for it without).
