Copper Coffee — Restaurant in London

Nice rustic look with tables outside and extra seating upstairs. They had a large and lovely looking selection of pastries, though there was no signage to say what any of them were.

Service felt rushed and a bit impersonal. I asked how the servers were and just got a one-word “good” with no reciprocation. I ordered an oat cappuccino – they didn’t ask if it was for takeaway or sit-in, just quickly tapped it on the till and walked off. I sat down hoping it might come in a proper cup, but the server ran out to me with a 12oz takeaway cup, handed it over, and ran back inside.

The coffee itself was weak and tasteless – all I could pick up was the oat milk, with no coffee flavour coming through. I’d still take that over burnt coffee, which is so commonplace, but it wasn’t great either. The milk was steamed a bit too hot for my liking and was a bit of a shock. I suspect the coffee might have been nicer as a shorter drink in one of their sit-in mugs and it looks like the cappuccino cups were smaller than the takeaway cups.

Overall, it felt like the focus was on moving people through rather than offering a proper specialty...

This shop was an amazing discovery. 2 floors of beautiful seating, and an amazing open window to order coffee quickly on the way to work. I’ve been coming here regularly for some time now, so when they added an amazing Neapolitan pizza to the menu my mind was blown. With so many different varieties, I can easily say this is the best spot to get pizza In the area.

The baristas are amazing, they are always cleaning the machine in quiet times, which makes it clear why their coffee tastes so much better than the surrounding mainstream coffee shops. I would definitely recommend anyone to go out of their way...

I hosted my friends baby shower at Copper Coffee and I left them in charge with decorating the place. I rented out the second floor - which is such a good idea. The interiors are beautiful, very ethereal, fairy/ forest themed and I’m so so pleased with how everything turned out!

My friend cried out of happiness so tears all around.

I asked the managers to get me a cake, it was massive and so had A LOT of cake left over which we all took home. There was 8 of us and it was a nice cosy fit. I would say the floors are perfect for brunches, meetings, anything intimate to book out for.
