Nestled in the vibrant heart of Bermondsey, Crol & Co struck me as a pleasant surprise. The place radiated a cosy and inviting vibe, the walls adorned with well-designed items that added to the chic atmosphere. The Bonzini table football was an unexpected yet fun addition, immediately lightening the mood.

The drinks were delightfully refreshing. I particularly enjoyed their Gin & T, beautifully complimented by Bermondsey's own grapefruit tonic. A slice of grapefruit further enhanced the tang, creating a perfect balance that was both refreshing and invigorating.

As for the soundscape, it was lively yet unobtrusive. Even with the doors wide open to the bustling street, the soothing music created a cocoon of auditory comfort. The place's acoustics seemed promising, and I am keen to experience it fully on a quieter day.

Although I didn't have the chance to taste the food due to a full stomach, the venue certainly charmed me with its vibrant ambiance and delicious drinks. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to Crol & Co Bermondsey, and next time, I'll be ready to dig into their...

Came for coffee with my husband while on our honeymoon, and we ended up staying for lunch! The manager was very accommodating to my intolerance to grains, double-checked whether the fries and hashbrowns were breaded, and was able to make me a cheeseburger with hashbrowns instead of bread. It was delicious!! It's been so long since I've been able to enjoy a burger out in a restaurant - years! - so this was a real treat. The bartender/barista also did a great job with our coffees, and answered all of my questions with a kind demeanor. We'll be back for some gin and spiced cashews in the evening!!

*a note on the slaw: I thought it was delicious, even though I don't like licorice, but my husband tasted the fennel more than I did - maybe opt for the chips if you're particularly sensitive to the flavor of...

Spontaneously drawn in by the sun drenched, open air, street side seating and seeing smiling customers sipping lattes and desperately craving a coffee myself, I was immediately greeted with friendly service and swiftly brought a perfect oat latte. Little did I know this would be one of the most delicious lattes I’ve had since moving to London (I’m from NZ so a perfect latte is always being sought out). When I went to pay I chatted to the barista Zaphire who not only makes perfect lattes but is really lovely! Shout out to Joe and the other gentlemen who took my order as you were all so genuine and friendly. Next time I find myself in the neighbourhood I’ll def be back.

They also had a £10 lunch special that looked really delicious and amazingly priced so hoping to try that...
