Visited Guilin Ramen house on a friday night. Ordered their signature Guilin rice noodles. Presentation-wise, it looks colourful, every side is put in a organised way. It tastes very authentic, similar to the one I had before in Guilin. The noodles is also cooked to perfection, and the sauce I must say it is very good and very authentic. They also offered a free bowl of chicken soup, which taste very nice, some shredded chicken pieces and you can feel the chicken broth is very rich. Definitely a lot better than outside chicken soup. They also offered a bowl of brown sugar jelly. Sweetness is just about right! The jelly is also very good, the whole dessert is very refreshing. Also worth mentioning, the female staff is very nice, careful and thoughtful to every table of customers. I really enjoyed her service! Very attentive to all details and has a very nice followup/ conversation with all customers! Also the dishes are served very quick too. I must say this is definitely one of the hidden gems in Central London, very please with the service and food. Offer 10% off if you pay by cash. Would definitely...
Read moreThe place is bursting with light and fresh vibes, perfect for a casual lunch. I dove straight into the Guilin ramen – apparently, they're authentic to the region, and would not sure if this is my type of a Ramen! The staff were super friendly and the food came out fast.
This place has friendly staff, but there seemed to be a bit of a communication barrier. The front of house didn't speak much English, and when I tried to order tea, things got a little confusing. After waiting 15 minutes, it turned out they were out of teapots! 🫖
It would have been nice if they could have told me this sooner, or maybe offered an alternative like hot water and a bag. Unfortunately, I ended up with bottled water instead, which wasn't quite what I was looking for. There was also a service charge, which felt a bit strange since the language barrier made ordering a bit tricky and I expected slightly different service
Overall, I'm not sure if I'd like to return right. Hopefully, they can work on their communication or maybe have some basic English trainings for stuff available. It could be a great spot with a little...
Read moreI love how we can smell the place before stepping inside. The “smell” is from the snail rice noodle and it’s one of those dishes if it doesn’t smell then it’s not authentic.
We ordered 3 noodles and a pig’s ear this time between the two of us, and walked out so full! The rice noodles were cooked to perfection and it had just the right amount of chewiness in all. The broths were so flavourful too, each one with a distinct taste and not from a generic taste or “additive” taste. We had the chance to speak to their owner last time they explained how their ingredients are fresh and you can definitely see and taste it in their vegetables its just a shame they don’t advertise it much
The dishes we ordered were braised pig ear, snail rice noodle, braised beef brisket noodle and triple harmony. We had their chicken feet and pigs trotters last time which were amazing too! Definitely worth trying. The atmosphere is great cute too, clean and friendly 🫶 will be back with more...
