We popped in here on a whim on a Saturday around 3pm hoping for something interesting, and we were not disappointed! I am vegetarian and I had the Tofu Katsu Curry rice bowl, and my fiancée had the chicken teriyaki bento box.
We were greeted by an extremely welcoming and friendly lady, and the food preparation took about 8 minutes! Fast food for what you pay for! We occupied ourselves by drawing on their chalk wall and reading the fantastic post-it notes left by K-Pop fans and other patrons.
We had a train to catch at Oxford Circus so did not sit in to eat, but we were so intrigued by the food we started eating immediately after exiting the doors. The lady came outside to let us know that we could eat inside if we wanted, and we had a lovely conversation about differences in cuisine around the world.
Now onto the food. The Tofu Katsu Curry was cooked to perfection, lying gently on a bed of rice. It was total heaven in a bowl. For my fiancée, she basically had a food-orgasm when trying each piece in her bento box. There was cold omelette, hot dumplings, cucumber, rice, and of course the chicken teriyaki with mixed vegetables.

Read moreK-POP Korean Restaurant is a true culinary gem that captures the warmth and comfort of a home-cooked Korean meal. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of sizzling bulgogi and bubbling stews sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The dishes here are a testament to tradition, lovingly prepared with the kind of love and care you'd expect from a Korean home kitchen.
K-POP Korean Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to feel cared for. With its authentic flavors, inclusive options, and heartfelt hospitality, it's a spot that leaves you full in every sense of the word.
Equally deserving of praise is the staff—regular faces who work tirelessly and with genuine warmth. Whether it's a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, their attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly service make every visit feel like a return to a familiar, welcoming table.
K- Pop plays non intrusively in the background and thankfully, is played at a comfortable level. Nice ambience and not having to shout to make yourself heard is also a bonus!!
Vegetarian/vegan alternatives available. I have been told the chicken served here is halal, but there is no signage on the menu, website, or on display in the restaurant. As they serve pork here, this may be an issue for some people.
Toilets could have been slightly cleaner than they were when I used them, if I am to be honest but were not so unusable. Just a tad...
