Tainting a brand:
Not my first visit to a Leon and won't be the last. I should first note that I do eat at the Leon in Richmond and have eaten at the Leon near Liverpool Street Station and one or two other locations that have currently slipped my mind. Those were so much better than eating at the Leon in Victoria opposite the Sainsbury.
So the reason I decided to go to this one is because I was starving after work and just wanted food and thought 'hey I like the food at Leon'.
No... The location you go to seems to matter in this case. I like the food at Leon' and definitely don't want to put anyone off from going to one. Just not the one at Victoria Station at the moment.
I ordered a Vegan Love burger (not a vegan but felt like having one) and the baked fries. What I got was a barley passable burger as the bread tasted like it was going stale. The baked fries I got were the ones that were sitting there when I walked in which I don't really mind, however these were have cold, soggy and had partially mushed together.
I have ordered these before at other locations and was more than happy with it. Maybe it was the wrong time of day to to after 4.30pm.
So why didn't I complain... Firstly I was very hungry and just wanted food. Second I am not the kind of person who does complain about things just apparently bt* about it online đ and obviously tell my friends. Lastly if I go to an establishment I'm definitely not in a complaining mindset not expecting perfection just would like a decent meal.
Hopefully this was just a one off. I do recommend trying the food at Leon just not this Leon at the moment hopefully they step up. (Customer service not noted for a reason not good not bad and I got...
Read moreI love Leon, but this is a franchise and frankly does not live up to the standards and quality of the brand. First time I went, I looked at the menu and tried to order just to be told they have none left, then the same for several other items I each tried to order. Second time I went, it took them 20 minutes to serve me porridge and toast and they were totally disorganised. For this, I got a free hot drink and cake voucher so I thought I'd try again. Unfortunately, yet again it wasn't good. The man at the counter first ignored me, then wasn't sure what to do with the voucher and then was confused when I asked him what teas they have 'you just want tea?', he was moved out of the way by another employee who went on to deal with several customers orders so at least someone did something. I did finally get the tea and cake, but I'm not going back to this branch again as 3 times in a row it has not been a great experience. Go to the other branch in Victoria Place and...
Read moreVery very expensive for what you get. I ordered a chicken and chorizo rice box and my partner got the satay chicken rice box. Chicken and chorizo was a very stingy portion and the satay sauce was very salty. Mine had extremely strong tasting red cabbage that took over all other flavours. We also got a rose and pistachio doughnut which melted in the bag within about 10 minutes down to what felt like a soggy pudding, first time Iâve ever eaten a doughnut with a spoon... also there was not even the slightest of rose or pistachio flavouring... very disappointed. All that and it came to over...
