Positive aspects:|The only redeeming qualities of this hotel are: |- the reasonable price (€90 per night) and |- convenient location close to the city center.||Critical issues:|- Room condition: The room makes a depressing impression with dark gray walls that create the feeling of sleeping in a storage closet. The windows appear to be 100 years old, unpainted, and the room clearly hasn't seen renovation in ages.||- Door access problems: The room door locking system worked poorly - twice we couldn't get into our own room and had to ask staff for help each time.||- Tiny bathroom: The bathroom and toilet together occupy about 2 square meters with a deteriorated, poorly fitting door that provides no privacy whatsoever.||- Water system problems: The shower is extremely inconvenient - cold water runs for about 10 minutes first, then becomes warm for maybe a minute before turning scalding hot with no way to regulate the temperature. We had to shower in barely lukewarm water.||- Cleanliness: The room was quite dirty (except of those two square meters in the middle), which is unpleasant in itself.||-🚨 BED BUGS: The most serious issue - there are bed bugs in the room! My wife was bitten so severely that we had to see a doctor immediately upon our return.||Conclusion:|Unfortunately, this is typical for overhyped tourist cities - high demand allows owners to completely neglect quality. I strongly recommend paying more and finding better accommodation. Our friends found a way better place for the same price. ||I booked this hotel through the Agoda website and can definitively say that the photos absolutely do not match reality. I really regret not thinking to take photos of the room (probably because I thought there was nothing worth showing off and wasn't thinking about writing a review at the time). I'm writing this review 5 days later.||Such an experience was a first for us, and...

My stay (Check-In 03.10) has accidently been set on the 26th of September. I have only received one reply, stating that booking.com was responsible. They state, the hotel is responsible. Whether it was an error of booking.com or myself, it is hard to tell. Sure thing is, that I've paid for three nights. I offered them days ago to pay for a compensation and politely asked to reschedule to next week (this week). Unfortunately, still no reply at all. As a tourist willing to take all the risks and inconviences that comes with it when travelling from the EU to the UK, i have chosen this hotel because i have trusted them.
Maybe it is a good hotel per se, but the customer support so far has left a very bad taste in my mouth. For now, they have my payment and i have NO chance to check in. Wouldn't a good hotel notice that a guest listed in their databases has not arrived and would check after? I can't deny that i am angry. There are rules, there is goodwill and some other variables and it might be tough to reschedule. But staying silent and responding to emails does not help to solve the case.
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
HOWEVER, i am willing to give them a chance IF they offer me an adequate solution for both parties.
..... They never ever replied to me. Back then and many weeks/months later, no reply at all.
It might be cheap, but it might also be a bottomless pit where you can throw your money in. Skip it, London has much better...

If you're expecting a hostel and end up at Belgravia - congrats you'll be excited! However, this property advertises as a hotel and does not meet expectations. We showed up after a lengthy journey from Dublin and ended up waiting for the receptionist to arrive a few minutes after us to check us in.
The "place" is relatively easy to find once you escape Victoria station, however the double entrances are confusing. There is NO elevator - if you need help shlepping your bags up 5 (plus the standard European ground floor) get ready to hump your things as far as needed. We were not prepared for this in any means and struggled to get to our miniature room at the top. If you have multiple people in your group I hope you like each other because you'll be touching anytime you want to move around. One huge plus - extra plus are available if needed!
The website shows decent size rooms and advertise 7 meter squared rooms - which we did not get. I'm so beyond disappointed and frustrated that the reviewers are not completely honest and maybe overly conditioned to England's space constraints and pricing (plus the “owners” like to chastise negative reviews I’ve noticed). If you're over 6 feet tall you will bump your head in our room. I'll post actual photos later but save yourself the brutal pain we are suffering from and move along, find anything else. Your knees...
