I was having a really chaotic day yesterday and I had about half an hour until my coach home. I was walking through the train station and I saw a lush shop out of the corner of my eye and thought that picking up a couple of my favourite self care treats would cheer me up a bit. I came into the lovely little store and was immediately greeted by Ria, who asked me how my day had been. Given that I have the magical mix of BPD and ADHD I couldn't help but overshare about everything that was bothering me (is it really a trip to lush if you don't pour your heart out to the first member of staff that you encounter?) Anyway, long story short, Ria listened to me ramble and although she was a complete stranger, responded how you'd expect a friend to. She was so compassionate, supportive and empowering and I cannot thank her enough. I was served by Chris at the till who was equally as lovely, and random acted me some of my absolute favourite treats (how did you know??) which cheered me up immensely. In a time that has been exhausting for everyone, seeing kindness in action is so important and it's safe to say I left and cried the whole way home. These members of staff absolutely made my day feel so much brighter and I don't doubt that the rest of the team match their energy. I've worked with Lush for years now and this experience really put into perspective how it feels to be on the receiving end of five star customer service, and brought back the magical feeling of being a customer at lush again. Thank you for cheering me up, but mostly, thank you for inspiring me to do kind things for others myself moving forward.

Read moreI recently visited the LUSH store at Victoria Station and had such a lovely experience, thanks to a team member named Sammie. As soon as I walked in, she greeted me with a big smile and asked if I needed any help or was looking for something specific. I had come in hoping to pick up the Lush Fairy body wash, but unfortunately, it wasn’t in stock yet (coming next week!). I mentioned that I have sensitive skin, and Sammie took the time to walk me through the ingredients in different products and explain which ones would be most suitable for me. Her knowledge and passion for the brand really stood out. Even though the store was quite busy, she made sure I was looked after and never rushed me. I ended up buying a different body wash and a bath bomb, and she even gave me some free samples of the new Pumpkin Spice range to try at home! At one point, I had a small issue with paying, and Sammie kindly put my items aside without any fuss. While I sorted it out, we had a lovely chat about the benefits of various products, and she was incredibly patient and kind throughout. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience. Sammie is fantastic at what she does and really made my day! I don't know her name or I would have definitely mentioned it on this review. I had to buy a last minute birthday present for my Sister and she provided me with excellent recommendations and recommended outstanding products which really put a smile on my Sister's face! She was very friendly and I could definitely build rapport with her and have a casual conversation. The store is very organised and well stocked. There were loads of gift options and their was plenty of fragrances flying around the whole store. It was an atmospheric and refreshing experience. I personally would recommend the lime bounty body butter. The fragrance is strong and long lasting and after a few uses it had an incredible effect on my skin. It was very smoothing.
