Service should be 0 stars. Queued for half an hour, and they started telling us they were running out of chicken. Running out of soft drinks as well. One cashier took over 10 minutes to do a single order that wasn't even for a large table just two people. Waited for ABSOLUTELY ages for some Nando's. This location is always out of sauce, out of chicken etc. and the managers and staff do not care. The service is done by silly, dopey people who are so incredibly slow, it's like their two braincells are fighting for third place.
Before we went to the tills, we were seated at a table (the largest there even though we were three people and there were other smaller tables available)and left a drink there. One of the stupid employees threw a drink, took our sauces on a table they KNEW was clean and had people sitting on it. Maybe if the idiots at the tills didn't take a century to ring up one order, we wouldn't have had this problem. The woman who we spoke to seemed to not understand the concept of "I paid for that drink, you threw it in the bin". Somebody also left an alcoholic can on our table (empty) and they didn't take that one?
We managed to get the idiot server to get us three drinks, but it was only Fanta available for some stupid reason. How can you be running out of everything, hours before closing time?
This branch is always also out of sauce which they blame on customers dropping, but it's always the servers dropping the sauces.
Waited for our food for ages and due to the utter idiocy and poor conduct of the manager and servers, our food was just waiting there whilst other people who came after us got their food long before we did. I wanted the Garlic Churrasco burger and they said they didn't have the garlic bread required for the buns, yet I saw garlic bread being brought out as a side to people who ordered after me.
Told the manager and asked for some form of compensation and she palmed it all down to Nando's Jubilee Place being closed and that she wasn't notified that a server stole our drink.
My butterfly chicken that was described as two chicken breasts was just a single one that had a bone as well. So your chefs can't butcher a chicken, nor comprehend managing more than one chicken breast at once.
There is a reason why these dopey, slow idiots are in these underpaid jobs. They can't comprehend anything higher level.
Overall horrible service from what used to be a decent place. Do not come to the Canary Wharf branches, find...

Lady sorting out take away bags can see that I am waiting , but not approaching me. I decided not to wait for staff as no one is there, and chosen a table to seat, and was about to scan the QR code to make my order.
That lady who was ignoring me at the entrance and packing take away bags, approached me at my table and started telling me off for not waiting for her to give me the table. I explained that I waited for a minute and no one is there so I chosen to seat at the available table and it is almost empty restaurant, so what is the problem. She wasn’t happy with my explanation and kept telling me off that they have policy. I explained that I am sitting at the table already so what is the problem, staff was not there and I waited no one came. She kept arguing that staff were busy and I should have waited patiently before she would give me the table. I said, it is not a big deal I am already sitting so please leave me alone and don’t spoil my mood as I came here to eat and not to argue. She is not leaving me alone and keeps arguing and accusing me of being rude. I corrected her that not me is rude but her, as she is not making me feel welcome by telling me off and going on and on. Can you believe me and she is still there not leaving and keeps arguing. I repeatedly insisted that she must now leave me alone as I was already quite annoyed by such greeting. She ended that argument by saying that now that I know for the future and walked away. I left immediately as I won’t be eating here after she created me such a nice atmosphere. I better spend my money elsewhere. I went to Seoul Bird in canary wharf Jubily line shopping centre and had my dinner there instead , and was so pleased to discover this place as their grilled chicken is so much more delicious, it is nicely marinated before they grill it, and tastes so much better that Nando’s. And staff didn’t mind me walking in and choosing the table I want and were welcome and greeted me at the entrance and were polite at all times. Highly recommend Seoul Bird Korean street food restaurant. My stomach was very pleased with their healthy options of fresh salads and delicious grilled chicken. However, we were seated and I decided to make my order by scanning the QR code, the processes of ordering was simple and out of my group of 6 I was the first to make my order… My food took one HOUR to arrive and I was the last to receive my food, with most of my friends already finished ready to leave, I finally received my order which was identical to one of my others, 1/2 Chicken medium, 2 peri chips and a garlic perinnaise, just to be greeted with a 1/4 chicken 2 peri chips and a garlic perinnaise, at this point I was extremely frustrated not only did my food take an hour to arrive the order was incorrect. Having noticed the food presented to me was NOT what I paid for, I decided to bring the plate to the kitchen area, I told a member of staff and they showed me their TV/Order screen and then what I assume to be a manager came up asked what the problem is, when I explained that I had Ordered a 1/2 chicken and was given a 1/4 chicken she had the absolute AUDACITY to tell me that I ‘should have known what I ordered, and shouldn’t have let my friend take the order’, basically trying to make my point and order invalid DESPITE having PAID for 1/2 a chicken and receiving a 1/4 chicken after waiting a HOUR double the time we was initially told we would have to wait. I let the rude manager (who frankly needs to undergo a new set of customer communications training) waffle on about how I should have known what my friend ordered before asking ‘what are you gonna do about my chicken?’ Until she finally decided to ask for a breast piece to be made.
Not only was the customer service underwhelming on an individual scale, but in general it seemed like the customer service was not at all on par with other Nando’s I’ve been to, staff weren’t really that welcoming and they definitely didn’t say have a good night etc etc. I wouldn’t recommend this branch of Nando’s to any of my friends or family, PURELY due to customer service, the food was as to be expected (it’s Nando’s) but the service is...
