What a great Japanese Place! This is definitely a hidden gem in this area. My family and I have been touring London for a week and staying in the nearby Marriotts Hotel. We have been trying all various types of food in the surrounding area—steak house, afternoon tea, Chinese, Italian and etc. As this the most toured spot in central London, we can tell most of time as soon as we entered a place (for dinner ) if this is a restaurant really focusing on their cuisine or just for money from guests. I believe we finally find the one we’d like to visit multiple times. We did not find the place from Yelp, but accidentally get in their due to cancellation of the originally planned visited Turkish place under renovation. It is a small place without heavy decorations. Considering only 4 employees in there, the serving time of orders are quite reasonable. Food quality is very good, and price is fair. The quantities of orders are surprisingly bigger than I thought. We are the only non-Japanese table, and there are so many things can be chosen from; the waitress gave us some help on the decision. (Unfortunately, their menu is in Japanese style and take a while to figure out how much should be ordered) but in general, order 20-25& per person plus drinks should be enough for a good dinner.

We will come over again to check...

I booked this restaurant for my husband’s birthday lunch. It’s a casual sushi restaurant during lunch time, but sushi was even better than we were expecting — and we had high expectations due to some reviews we had read. My husband comes from a Japanese background and was really pleased to see how fresh and authentic everything we ate was. I was mesmerized by the quality of the fish and rice every sushi piece had. They have a great variety of tuna pieces, all of them super fresh and tender. Service was lovely too, the lady who was waiting our table was sweet and explained every question we had. I believe the restaurant is fair priced as well, especially taking both the quality and the location they’re at. I want to go back there for dinner, when they also serve hot...

Unfortunately a humiliating experience for me. I went on a date with someone here and i insisted that the dinner is on me. I tried to pay and my card get’s declined, I try my credit card, my phone and no luck.

I had more than a grand on my card, so it should be impossible to get declined right. I had no problems using the card during the day and have used ever since the date.

So my date ended up paying for it. On Sunday I contacted my bank about and they said the payment did go through, so that means both of us paid for the date. And now I have to deal with this.

Suffice to say, there was no second date, in fact they have become a ghost and disappeared, which is not surprising.

Food was good, atmosphere was good but unfortunately an incredibly...
