A Fantastic Find! Great Beer, Delicious Pizza, and a Wonderful Vibe. My friends and I visited this bar last night and had an absolutely fantastic time. This place is a real gem! The first thing that impressed us was the incredible range of beers on tap. They have a brilliant selection catering to all tastes, from German classics like Konig Pilsner and Kostritzer Black Lager to a variety of craft ales and lagers. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering great suggestions and helping us try something new. We also ordered pizza, and it was so good! Everyone in our group loved the food. The prices for both food and drinks were very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other places we've visited. While the venue itself is a bit small, this only adds to its cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to hang out with friends, enjoy some quality drinks and food, and just have a great time. We will definitely be back! Highly...

I was walking through the dark valley, not recognising the place, not recognising myself. After nearly a month, although it felt much longer, I finally faced the biggest fear of this year. In the end that is what you should be doing in your life, not running away, but dealing with your fears. Some would say that I questioned existence of things that cannot be questioned. Things like is sky blue, is fire hot or, as in this case - is Pelt Trader a good pizza. And whether we should go for 2 or 3 pizzas. In the latter one rule is simple - more is better. And is Pelt a good pizza? After a break you tend to appreciate things even more and oh boy, my appreciation couldn't be expressed enough. This spark in my eyes was noticed from the very end of dark and loud Pub near Cannon Street station. Few hour later when cycling back home I felt fulfilled, I felt that on that evening, when eating Sussex Hot I reminded myself what's...

despite the inexplicably excellent reviews I was disappointed in my visit (October '14) at lunchtime, as although the beer is very good indeed the actual bar was awful - dim, dingy, smelling of cleaning product, nothing pleasing to the eye at all. top marks for the fantastic selection of fresh local ales served well and what looks like good beer food, although the meat sticks on the bar were not encouraging as any Tom, Dick or Harry could have been copping a feel. It was the ambience that was the let-down, simple and functional is good and the focus is great beer, but this was a bit too clinical for my liking and gave me a bad vibe. Maybe better to go later with a...

Extensive choice of beer. A number of cask ales in condition. German specialty beers. Even a real high juice cider on tap. Popular with office groups. In an arch under the station. Quirky decor. Loos clean; decor could do with a wee refresh here. Service okay, but could be more friendly; a smile and some sort of engagement is nice when it’s not busy. All in all good drinks and good choice.

The delicious pizzas on the menu were a delightful surprise, offering a perfect complement to the diverse drink options. However, the limited seating was a slight drawback, making it challenging to secure a table during peak hours. Despite this, the vibrant atmosphere and exceptional offerings make it a must-visit for beer and pizza enthusiasts willing to savor a cozy experience.
