Amazing Service at All Bar One - A True Gem of a Waiter!

I had the pleasure of dining at All Bar One recently, and I have to say, the service was outstanding. Our waiter, [JO], truly made the experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Jo greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that immediately set the tone for our meal.

Throughout the evening, he was attentive without being overbearing, always checking in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made fantastic recommendations for both food and drinks. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making our dining experience special.

What stood out most was his attention to detail. He noticed when we were running low on drinks, swiftly offering refills, and was quick to suggest a perfect dessert pairing when we were unsure what to choose. It’s these little things that make a huge difference and elevate the whole experience.

Overall, the service was top-notch, and it was clear that Jo goes above and beyond for every guest. I will definitely be returning, not only for the delicious food and drinks but for the exceptional service. Highly recommend asking for Jo if you're lucky enough to visit!

I had one of my worst customer experiences in this place. And to describe their staff I would say: unfriendly, impolite and simply rude! My friend and I went there last Tuesday. I ordered a large glass of Pinot Noir at a hefty price of £8 and my friend ordered a glass of hot water. Half an hour later we were approached by a waitress and asked if we wanted to order anything else. As I didn't even drink half of my glass of wine I said ‘no, thank you’. My friend ordered another glass of hot water. The waitress literally made a face in front of us, turned and marched off. Another half an hour later we were approached again - I was still sipping through my large glass of wine! - and asked again if we wanted to order something else. We said no, thank you. To which the waitress replied that in this case she is going to get our bill. She didn't even confirm that it was ok with us, she just walked away! As it was Tuesday night the place wasn't busy at all, with many empty tables. And paying 8 quid for a glass of wine I would expect to be able to enjoy it for a bit longer than an hour!! Friday after work service could do with an overhaul for one particular bartender. I approached the bar and got asked for my order immediately - great start. As the bartender picks up the cocktail shaker he then asks the gentleman who had just appeared next to me for his order then serves his, presumably easier order, of "a pint", putting my own drink on hold. The other customer looked awkward so I let that one go. After the bartender resumed making my drink he then asks another customer, mid-shake, how he can help them. Another pint order later and my drink is left sitting on the bar waiting to be finished whilst the other gentleman got served. My drink was eventually made but I got the impression that if I had a male colleague with me our collective orders wouldn't have been passed over twice. Got a table upstairs but that was more likely due to the fact it was half 4 and wasn't busy yet then anything else.
