Never write a google review, but it is to a point I think the manager/ company has to aware this issue. I work around the area and visit very often, especially on saturaday when most other shops are shutted.
The ‘barista’ guy is terribly rude (mid age, black curly hair, greece i guess?) Everyone has a bad day, but seems like his days are all rough. Never hear a single ‘halo’, ‘thankyou’ from this guy, basic manner isnt it. Plus, I do understand the excitment of ending a day as any employees in the world, it is too obvious that he is not welcoming people to stay even it s two hrs before the closing time, by asking ‘ TAKEAWAY?’ Repeatedly not ‘have in or takeaway?’
Another thing is closing many area, again 2 hrs before not 30 mins, I do understand this move, but the moment you got up the staffs couldnt wait to jump it and clear the tiny bits of pastry you dropped on the table since if they do it nicely after the customer left they would lose some precious time?
Going to pret, I dont expect 5* service, however it is always my first choice if I have various chain cafe shop to choose from, I like the better food options, environment and affordable prices. Read moreI went here for lunch today and the customer service was so good I feel it justified a review.
I ordered a baguette, brownie, and a hot chocolate. The serving staff very kindly gave me the hot chocolate for free. When I asked for a receipt the transaction didn't appear correctly, so they suggested they refund and put the transaction through again. They did this, and to apologies for wasting my time (they chatted to me the whole time and didn't waste my time at all) they gave me a free cookie as well.
To top it all off, I couldn't find a seat so the staff politely asked another customer if they wouldn't mind splitting her table in to two so I could sit down.

Read moreI have just been to the store to collect my Breakfast Bag from the Too Good To Go app. On arrival, they told me there were no more bags left – even though I had already paid for it.
This was a 15 minute walk from my office then a 15 minute walk back – empty handed.
The individual I was discussing this with had absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever and just told me that they would refund me. I repeatedly told him that I did not want a refund – I wanted to food I had paid for. They offered no alternative solution and just proceeded to try and rush me out of the store.
Just such a terrible experience. I will be leaving a 0 star review everyday just so people can realise how badly this...
