I wanted to have a drink or two at Shoreditch after a challenging week. It was much needed. I booked this place because I liked the name, it just sounded different 😊 I walked into the bar on a Friday night and knew that I made the right choice. I was welcomed immediately by the staff, they led me to my table and I ordered a pint of Guinness and read. The atmosphere was lovely, dark and dingy, just how I like it. I asked if they were closing shortly or if the table was reserved, to which the waiter responded they might have people in later and that it was an internal policy. All very hostile...
