Pretty good food and a great deal on Groupon. £20 to spend towards £40 of foods and drinks or £30 to spend towards £60 of foods & drinks. Only 1 voucher can be used on a table. You can also only order foods on the a la carte menu, not the set menu. Before your meal, you get a complementary basket of bread (slices of baguettes) with rich Irish butter. We had 3 mains: Entrecote Steak, Pan roasted Duck Magret and Poisson Du Jour (pan fried Hake) to share. We ordered a medium rare entrecote steak which was tender and seasoned quite well. The chips though were slightly disappointing, they don't look or taste like restaurant quality chips. They weren't particularly fluffy inside nor crispy enough on the outside. Its side salad was also not impressive with barely any sauce. Quite bland to be honest. The Pan roasted duck Magret/breast was well-seasoned, though could be less well-done/more tender. I love the sweet potato mash and beets sauce, they complement well with the duck. The side roasted vegetables were nicely done too. Overall a lovely dish. My favourite dish had to be the chef's pan fried Hake. A well cooked piece of fish with a rich and creamy mushroom sauce. This is what I call restaurant quality food. Yum! The service was good, though not very fast considering that it was a relatively quiet lunch service. The dinning space was a little tight and the decor looked outdated. It also had an odd, almost musty odour, especially on the way to the toilets in the basement. Not my favourite dining atmosphere I'd say. Overall, I think the food is good, although there is room for improvements. The Groupon voucher definitely made the meal a lot more affordable. I would consider coming back with a voucher but I wouldn't pay the full price to dine here. I would give this restaurant a 3.5 stars but the voucher bumped it up to a 4.

Came here after a long day of meetings, albeit good ones, but Savoir Faire proved to be an oasis of calm and civility, with great food at a price actually quite reasonable and well worth paying. It’s a quirky place with paintings and quotations everywhere (look up) and the staff are pleasant, not pushy. The duck magret with vegetables and a delicious blackberry sauce needed no further accompaniment beyond the background music. Simply delicious. Good wine list though not cheap. A 175ml glass for seven or eight pounds available on much of the range Ava’s that’s all I needed. Next time I’ll probably sample the bouillabaisse or lamb shank, as some of the specialities. Tables around me ordered a variety of dishes, all looking great. And finished off with a decent cafe au lait. Looks like they do a nicely priced two or three course lunch too. Savoir faire indeed.

Came with groupon voucher, felt welcoming. It's a cute and busy restaurant. We ordered lamb shank and duck, both were tasty, the broccoli was well seasoned. The desserts were great as well. I felt bad for the owner that he had to deal with the weirdo sitting another table that complained Creme Brulee was cold, and left a review that it was not torched and gave one star.... It's warm on the top and cold inside, that's totally correct authentic French way of doing it, in the restaurant he said that he wanted his Creme Brulee all hot! As you can see from my images, it was torched perfectly fine. The owner still apologised as he's a customer, even though he was not doing anything wrong, he's just a nice owner. He offered a different dessert to replace it and the customer declined. Overall I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

We were very disappointed by this restaurant, having read the reviews. When ordering, we checked a few times that the spinach and tomato fettucine was vegan, for my vegan daughter. The server confirmed it was. She then ordered the French onion soup (and the fettucine). The soup clearly states on the menu that it is vegan. Not 'vegan option available', but that it is vegan. When my daughter was served the soup, there was cheese on the bread on top of the soup - not vegan cheese, regular cheese. So she sent it back and they returned with a plain soup for her.

My husband and other daughter ordered the caramelised onion and brie tartlet. They said it was tasty, but lukewarm, but didn't want to complain and return it. The tart also came with walnuts on top (not shown on the menu, and a potential problem for those with an allergy to these nuts).

I had ordered a vegetarian pizza and asked what vegetables are on it, as I can't eat peppers (I have a food intolerance to them). Peppers was one of the vegetables, so I asked the server if I could have the pizza without peppers as I can't eat them. My husband reiterated this to the server, who confirmed, no peppers. I know readers can guess what happened when the pizza arrived - yup, there were peppers on the pizza. I returned the pizza. Staff removed the peppers and gave it back to me - complete with little indents where the peppers had been. I returned it again, as I can't eat all those areas where the pepper 'juice' had been due to my intolerance of them. They then remade the pizza for me.

My husband and daughters all ordered the spinach and tomato fettucine. As already mentioned, we had had a conversation with the server when ordering, that the pasta was vegan, and he had confirmed it was a vegan dish. The first two bowls which came out had cheese on. So I reminded the server before he brought the third bowl out, that my other daughter was vegan, and he said, yes, I know. Five minutes later, her pasta came out, so we suspect that they had already put cheese on top, and had to redo it. You can't just pick off grated cheese like you can pick off peppers on a pizza.

However, all of my family said the pasta was overcooked, and pretty tasteless.

Two of my family ordered desserts - a crepe and a creme brulee - and they said these were good.

We wouldn't return to this restaurant, as the food was only mediocre, and because of the mistakes made with the food. To their credit, they did fix each mistake and were polite and gracious with it.

*there was also no hand soap in the ladies toilet, so that's a...

My dining experience at this restaurant was unfortunately far from what I had anticipated. From the outset, the ambiance was less than inviting, with background music laced with YouTube ads that detracted significantly from the dining atmosphere.

The service left much to be desired. After a 30 minute wait just to be acknowledged and provided with water, the food took another hour to arrive. This delay seemed due more to a lack of effort and professionalism than any visible busyness. The staff's tendency to drop items followed by laughter only amplified the sense of disorganization.

Regarding the food, the pasta served was comparable to something I might have whipped up using a supermarket sauce during my university days, a stark and disappointing contrast to what one would expect from a restaurant meal.

An interesting note is that this restaurant visit wasn't our original plan. We had a booking confirmation for Giotto, a restaurant across the road, which presumably shares ownership with this one. Upon arrival at Giotto, we were recommended to dine here instead. This switch, unfortunately, led to a regrettable dining experience.

Given the of issues poor service, unappealing ambiance and underwhelming food we felt so disillusioned that we didn't even contest the service charge, our sole focus was to leave as swiftly...
