If you stay at The Windermere Hotel, the breakfast here is complimentary! If not, you can still visit this location for breakfast/brunch. I got my breakfast here and it was delicious! They have a selection of teas, juices and coffee and the standard, vegetarian or vegan British breakfast plates. You can choose to have your eggs scrambled, sunny side up or fried. They also have a selection of pastries, jams, and yogurts. Would definitely recommend coming here if you want a standard British breakfast!

Given the price and 4.7 score, I expected more. For a place that is a supposedly expert on breakfast, they get too many things wrong: - poached eggs were over-cooked (no runny yolk) - size if toast was miniscule - flat white was more like a latte (they made a proper one after I called it out, see photo) A few upsides: - pleasant venue, despite being a cellar - nice music, decent decor - majority servers are attentive and kind (owner is a bit abrupt, and paces around as if he's irritated)

A very rude owner/manager. Walked in and I was not approached let allown being served. I then since the atmosphere was dead, I asked for a hot drink for take away (as I didn't want to leave without making a purchase). He then rudly said either sit for a full breakfast or we don't serve. I quickly walked out.

While the food was good (meats were very salty) & food presentation was nice our experience was ruined by the male owner/manager. We felt he was so rude with his negative comments to us throughout the service. Most disturbing was when a regular coffee was requested, he asked what type & a regular one was requested. His reply was a flat one. I asked if that was what it was called as I wanted to learn the proper way. His reply was condescending & a latte was brought out. Table next to us asked & received “coffees” with refills offered when they brought out the coffee pot. Everyone else so super nice & attentive although it appeared to be a tense working environment as the servers appeared nervous when he was around. We did ask for their service up charge to be removed as we felt he didn’t deserve the extra money. He said a few negative comments then adjusted the bill. Would not recommend their Bloody Mary drink. While it looked nice the taste was not good. As there are so many other places to eat breakfast I would not recommend nor return...

Customer service was appalling.

We came here over the weekend. The older gentleman working there was nothing but rude to us. When we were seated, I got up to go to the bathroom and immediately he was annoyed and asked where I was going. When I got back to our table, he came over to ask what we wanted to which I said I needed time. Again, he was annoyed when I changed my mind on our drinks order and raised both his hands as if I had said something wrong.

I saw him walk around the tables refilling everyone's coffee except our table. When the lady gave us our food, I asked for more coffee. When the bill came, we were charged for two coffees and I asked whether coffee was refillable. I was told the price of coffee has doubled and when I asked why other tables got coffee refills she simply said "well...those are our guests". Not to mention, each cup of coffee came half full.

All in all - food was mediocre. Service was terrible. Clearly they are for neighbourhood...

We had breakfast at Pimlico Grid, and the Full English Breakfast was good, as was the service from the staff. The restaurant has a nice decor, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, we were automatically charged a 12.5% service fee as a tip for the workers. We believe this should be something the customer is asked about beforehand rather than being added by default, as it should be up to the customer to decide whether to pay it or not. Additionally, the breakfast included very large mushrooms, and the orange juice was not freshly squeezed. The access to the restaurant can also be a bit tricky, especially for someone with reduced mobility. Also, if you arrive without a reservation, they will seat you at the bar or any...
