I recently had the pleasure of visiting Purgatory Bar, and it was nothing short of heavenly! Nestled in Victoria, this gem of a spot encapsulates the perfect blend of ambiance, exquisite drinks, and exceptional service. The mood is both intimate and vibrant, making it the perfect locale for a quiet rendezvous or a lively gathering.

Our server, Lucas, was the epitome of professionalism and charm. His knowledge of the menu was unparalleled, offering personalized recommendations that hit the mark every time. Lucas’ attentiveness ensured our glasses were never empty and our smiles never faded; he navigated the perfect balance of being present yet unintrusive.

The drink menu is a sophisticated amalgamation of classic cocktails and innovative concoctions. The "Spicy Way to Hell" was a particular highlight. This audacious blend of spicy and sweet encapsulated in a glass made every sip an exquisite dance of flavors. The meticulous craftsmanship of the bartenders is evident, elevating the drinking experience to an art form.

We came to this bar with anticipation as it was not far from our accommodation and the reviews sounded very good. On the spot, the cocktails were really well made. You could even watch them being made. Unfortunately, the service was pathetic. When the drinks were brought to us, the lady had already spilled half of the cocktail on the table. Since everything was sticky, we asked for the table to be wiped. This was done reluctantly and half-heartedly, with an unfriendly comment that the tables had been wiped before, with an undertone about which we would complain. We also had the drink Fallen Angel, which comes with a steam dome on the drink. Not only for us, but also for the neighbouring table, it was handled very carelessly, as it shattered when the waitress left. We had originally planned to drink more cocktails, but then we moved on to another bar. In addition, the snacks were expensive and were "thrown" on our table in a tasteless way. A service charge was directly included in the bill. We would have preferred to give nothing for the service. Cocktails top - service flop....

Just got back from an amazing trip to Purgatory, Victoria, and I've gotta tell you about it! Deji was our guide, and what a star he was! Right from the start, he was super welcoming, making us feel right at home. He had this knack for helping us out without giving too much away, which let us really get into solving the puzzles on our own.

The place itself? Wow, just wow! They've really gone all out with the design, making every inch of the place part of the story. The puzzles were smart and fun, challenging enough to keep us on our toes but not so hard that we got stuck.

And it wasn't just Deji; the whole crew there was fantastic. They were always there when we needed them, but they never got in the way of our fun. Their energy was infectious, really adding to the whole vibe of the place.
