The Round House, Covent Garden — Restaurant in London

Visited yesterday after a long walk and just as I was about to order my friend and is drinks I was approached in close proximity by a doorman (who wasn't there on approaching the door) telling me to stand back despite there being no queue.. Then on getting our drinks we found a spot to drink and within 5mimutrs were approached again by this man and told we can't stay within a 5mile radius of their pub... We told him well walk where we like with our purchases thank you and stayed where we were which was across the road outside another establishment! He swiftly said you won't be served again.. But if we'd walked away with the drinks we wouldn't be back anyway especially not for their mornic service and bullying attitude towards customers. Get a clue. Do not support this business there's plenty of deserving well run places around who value your visit. These new regulations have gone to some peoples heads unfortunately and actually enjoy power trips in telling people what to do using covid to justify bad manners and bare...

We live just down the road from this pub and are thrilled its reopened. Every-time we have been the staff have been great and the service is always quick. We went last night with my brother who was in town and sat outside. Our server was so lovely and the beers arrived really quickly. We were sat a couple of tables across from a lady who was clearly upset and the way the manager and staff members treated her, and made her feel was truly heart-warming. Within ten minutes the staff made her smile and completely changed her mood. The team really care about the customers and it was the most lovely and touching demonstration of top-notch customer service I have ever seen.
