One of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in London, hands down. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable – and a special shoutout goes to Sumaya, who truly made our visit extra special. She was so warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Her recommendations were spot on, and you could tell she genuinely cared that we were having a great time.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy yet modern – a perfect spot for a relaxed dinner or a sushi date night. It has a calm, inviting vibe that makes you want to stay longer.
Now let’s talk about the food – absolutely outstanding. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The salmon nigiri literally melted in our mouths, and the dragon roll was a real standout – rich, slightly spicy, and perfectly balanced. We also had the miso soup and prawn tempura, both of which were delicious. The tempura was light and crispy, and the miso was comforting and flavourful. Even the small touches, like the pickled ginger and wasabi, were a step above what you usually get.
Portions were generous, and the pacing of the meal was just right – we never felt rushed, and everything came out freshly prepared. Sumaya checked in on us at the perfect times, making sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
The prices are more than fair for the quality and experience you’re getting. It’s clear this place puts a lot of heart into what they do, both in the kitchen and on the service side. We left feeling full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll come back.
Highly recommended – and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Sumaya, you’re in for an even...
Read moreWE ordered: Prawn gyoza ×2. Yummy fries ×2. Edemame. Chicken katsu. Salmon teriyaki donburi. California roll. Dynamite roll. Mix box. Chocolate mochi 2 mango mochi.
My favourite in order: Dynamite roll, Prawn/vegetable gyoza and the California roll were the absolute winners. Chips and salmon teriyaki was good too. Chicken katsu was ok. I like edemame too. The gyozas were lovely. Had it before from other places and were not good, tasted greasy but these were delicious and tasted clean.
Service was excellent, cannot fault at all. We ordered before 5pm and told them we want it ready for 6.30 and it was. The guys were just lovely. They gave us a free soup as we ordered a lot. The place looked immaculate just the way i like it as I'm a clean freak. We eat so much was so full. The next day I wanted it again! Will be ordering again soon.
Finding the place was a little tough. Realised its inside band of burgers, but their bar is at the front. So if you look through the window you won't miss. But we just looked outside. They need to mention this on website until they have their...
Read moreAfter weeks of planning to come here we were unable to be seated as we came with buggies, Two or which were going to be folded down anyway. When we arrived a male staff member met us at the door, we asked if he there was space to seat us, after staring into this air for a few seconds he said 'no'. There were several seats available, all he had to do is kindly ask us to wait until another table becomes available so we could get our buggies in but he didn't think to offer this. Another female staff approached us (at the door, we are still standing outside like idiots). She also seemed lost and had couldnt offer any sort of seating. The restaurant is very small and targeted for a certain audience (content creators) NOT families.
Customer service was awful, please learn how to cater to everyone or just don't advertise to be a large lavish restaurant.
We then went to another restaurant (Kung pao in bethnal green) which was slightly smaller than this place however the lovely staff over there moved tables around so we could put our buggies on each end and one folded away...
