As I enjoyed my brew, I witnessed a heartwarming display of compassion and hospitality. One of the staff members noticed an elderly lady with a walker entering the cafe and immediately sprang into action.
With genuine care and kindness, the staff member guided the lady to a vacant table, ensuring she was comfortably seated before attending to her needs. They took the time to engage in conversation, offering assistance and companionship, ensuring she felt welcomed and at ease in her surroundings.

Read moreMy best friend and I are boring coffee nerds, and whenever we go anywhere together we sniff out the best places we can for coffee. This time it was my turn and I earned significant brownie points for finding Treelogy. First things first, we ordered a croissant and a lemon polenta, and they were really good. Then the coffee turned up. We ordered a couple of V60 filter coffees, and they came out as legitimately some of the best we've had. Perfectly dialled in and extracted. The price was very fair for such good coffee, and we had a brilliant time watching the world go by.
Finally; the staff. Exceptional. We ordered from a young woman who was really friendly, and recommended some really good coffees to try, which was very much appreciated (The Yemen Haraaz comes highly recommended by us). I think we were really obviously nerding out over the coffee we had or something, but Zoro (I think that's his name?) offered us a taste of something else he was brewing for himself, and we had a good chat about the different types of coffee, brewing filter and generally had a really good time.
I'm genuinely considering prioritising Paddington as an arrival point to London every time I go on the strength of how utterly, utterly perfect our experience was. Before we knew it we'd massively overrun the amount of time that we had before we had to get going, and didn't get a chance to leave a tip - which I feel terrible about! Honestly deserved one, and the two owners should be proud of what an incredible coffee shop...
Read moreMe and my partner have had at least 40 oat milk lattes / iced lattes from here over the past 2 months. They’ve all been amazing—the best we’ve had in London and we went to many different specialty coffee places. Smooth, not acidic, proper ratios of milk, ice, espresso, etc.
BUT in the past week, it’s gone downhill in the three separate occasions we went. Oat milk latte tasting acidic, iced latte watered down and clearly made differently. It’s standard to pour a freshly pulled espresso shot over milk and ice to avoid watering it down.. but they’ve changed their process and it shows. Can’t speak for the oat milk latte process, but it used to be the smoothest one we’d had and now, not so much.
If you love good specialty coffee, this may no longer be the place unless they change things.
Please go back to your old methods..or train the new staff. We used to love coming here but now it’s no longer worth it.
UPDATE: From 2 stars, back to 5. It’s as good as it was...
