Fabulous desserts served above the sushi bar. The range of Asian sweet treats is definitely worth exploring, we opted for the mango snow ice, croffle (croissant and waffle hybrid) with brown cheese and the tau foo fah, black and white (warm silken tofu with sweet black sesame syrup).

All were delicious and hit the spot.

The down side to this place is unfortunately other people, as it's a bustling little room the noise and jostling can sometimes be excessive, however today we were sat next to a family that believe it is fine to let their young children run free and scream very loudly in a small space filled with people trying to enjoy their desserts, unfortunate timing on our part maybe, but I hoped the staff may step in and ask the parents to do some parenting, they didn't in this instance which did severely impact our enjoyment.

Hopefully next time we will not have too many screaming children running loose, as this place is genuinely a 5-star experience in...

Update (16/9/17): finally tried the ice shave dessert and it's absolutely yummy! Went for the durian flavour and it was positively fantastic! Do note that it is also huge!!

This is a close 5* rating so basically very good but just missing out on being really special. What I like about this place is the fact they specialise in East Asian deserts which mainly centre around sago (tapioca like) pearls. There is a good variety of different toppings/styles to choose from and they also have ice shavings!! I'm patiently waiting for the summer months to give them a go! The dining area is quite small but is relatively cosy (strangely enough, it can get quite warm which explains why there's so many wall fans available). For me, this is a hidden gem because East Asian desert places are so rare! Biggest advice I can give is to avoid the bubble tea. Not...

We were a group of 6 ladies who were craving for some good desserts and that's when one of us suggested going here. There was a wait of a good 20-25 minutes. However when the food arrived we forgot about the wait time. We tried the Matcha Cheesecake which was very bland for our liking, the Snow Ice was amazing and we tried half n half by choosing 2 flavours Chocolate and Mango which was served with fresh cut mangoes and tapioca pearls. We then tried the Oreo Nutella Croffle and Brown Cheese Croffle which was mind blowing . The Croffles are served with vanilla ice cream but are much chewy as compared to regular waffles. We also tried the Banana and Peanut Butter Bubble Waffle which was good and Raspberry Mochi ice cream which again was okayish. The staff were very humble. The place is always packed...

We can't resist coming here to fix our craving of Asian / Chinese desserts. It's always busy every time we visited this place no matter what time of the day it is. We ordered their specials: Taro Snow Ice (£6.45) and a classic tong sui from the menu : Hot Ginger Tofu Dessert (3.80). We enjoyed both desserts : the flavours and texture. The portion size is still generous enough to be shared between 2-3 people and the price is very reasonable for this speciality in Chinatown. Highly recommended!
