Possibly the worst experience I have had at a Nandos. Let's start...
We get seated pretty swiftly seen as the restaurant isn't awfully busy (3pm Sunday) and decide what we want to eat, and proceed to order and get told that food shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes. 30 minutes go by and my mum catches a waitress and explains that we have been waiting for a while - we get told that it shouldn't be too long.
15 minutes later still no food, my mum catches another waitress passing by and explains that this is not acceptable, the restaurant isn't too busy and we have seen people that came in 20 minutes after us tucking into their food. The waitress acknowledges this and explains that there is no reason for her to be rude and walks off before my mum could explain that she wasn't tying to be rude - Not only is this extremely unprofessional but actually, quite embarrassing as other diners clearly heard this remark.
My mum then approaches the manager to explain the situation and the manager apologises once again; and that she will have a word with the waitress and bring over our food.
5 minutes later food finally arrives - some of it, at least. #Forgottenorder?
I take one bite out of my chicken and notice its luke warm at best - my guess is it was likely sitting on the hot plate for a while. By this point the manager comes back with the rest of the food and I explain to her that the food is pretty much room temperature...and that this is an absolute shambles of a service, 2 of the other meals were the same...
She takes up 5 minutes of my time to give me an explanation of why this is - instead of replacing it ASAP. She tells me that the food was spread across 2 grills and since my mother is eating vegetarian food, her food took longer to cook. She further explained that when an order gets spread across 2 grills there will be timing issues (we were a party of 5 not having a full blown meal since it was late afternoon). Firstly 'Sarah', it is not my problem how you decide to delegate work on the grills, and secondly - don't try to indirectly 'palm' off the issue because my mother is a vegetarian (are you serious?).
Needless to say I told her we are leaving and we don't wish to wait any more, she processes the refund and we leave. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Nandos and we barely even got an apology from the manager for the issue(s); or even offered us any compensation, not that we were looking for this - a genuine apology would suffice. I in fact 'lold' when the waiter standing by the door over heard the whole thing and sincerely apologised to us when we were picking up our coats and leaving. (Thanks bro).
And to top it off it started raining heavily by this point (it was dry before we entered said Nandos) and we were soaked making our way to the cars; which I conveniently would like to blame 'Sarah' for also. My suede shoes are now slightly tarnished and I left without eating chicken.
This is my first review for a restaurant and I don't like to 'cause a scene', but I made sure I left it as soon as I got back.
Will not be coming back to this branch, ever. If anyone is reading this then go to the HUB, or Xscape - my dad and I, and a few other diners even got surprised with a free beer while waiting to be seated once (it had only been 10 minutes).
......Anyway, rant over, avoid this Nandos, 'Sarah' and her harem of seasonal, unprofessional staff; except for the dude by the door (Thanks again, bro)

I recently visited Nando's Milton Keynes and had a fantastic experience. The customer service was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. Although it's important to note that this is not a table service restaurant and you need to order at the main desk, it didn't diminish the overall quality of my experience.
I opted for the chicken butterfly with two sides, and I must say, it was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sides were equally enjoyable and complemented the main dish nicely. Additionally, I was impressed by the wide selection of sauces available to enhance the flavors of the meal. It was a nice touch to have the option to customize the taste according to my preference.
One thing that stood out to me was the unlimited refill drinks option. It was definitely worth the money, as I could quench my thirst without worrying about additional charges. The availability of a variety of drinks made the meal even more enjoyable.
In terms of pricing, I found Nando's to be reasonably priced. The quality of the food, combined with the excellent service, made it a worthwhile experience. Although it's not a traditional table service restaurant, the overall experience was positive, and I would definitely consider coming back.

Read moreWe weren’t given a very warm welcome when we entered and asked for a table with extra space as we had a 3 week old baby in a pushchair. The gentleman who chose our table for us didn’t smile once and wasn’t being particularly friendly. We ordered our food which included olives and the young girl on the cashier didn’t give me them. I thought she might prepare them for us so I took the receipt and my glass and went and got a drink and the cutlery and sauces. I then returned to the table and waited for 5 minutes before I went back to the till and was ignored by the original cashier so had to ask another person to get me the olives. This then took much longer than was necessary as they were discussing between then whether they had been given to me which they clearly hadn’t as we had no plates on my table. No apology was given and when I did get the olives I was made to feel like I was somehow taking a liberty or had gotten away with something which was actually quite out of order. The food arrived and mine looked as expected but my partners Ceaser Salad looked horrible. No effect had been made to arrange it and it looked dumped on the plate and had minimal dressing on it.
