I always love Egg Benedict, it's really hard to find a good one. The one made by this shop is really yummy, well cooked spinach, fresh salmon with hot running eggs and tasty halladise sauce. This is a must try item, which is so far the best one I've ever tried in the UK. My husband took a funny burrito, all the breakfast ingredients were stuff inside the wrap. He love the blend, everything is well balanced. Taste of the coffee is great, more practice should be made for a better Latte Art. The server is smart, she did the right thing in appropriate timing though she needed to handle different things and customers in the same time. In all, I highly recommend this independent cafe. Keep on, you all made a good job.

Easy parking outside during working hours. This is the posh all day breakfast deli compared to The Gorge just down the road. All day breakfast was excellent. Great that they are flexible and you can substitute items. Food quality was excellent.. great sausage and dry cured bacon. Fresh mushrooms! Massive large cup of tea. They have an Italian expresso machine! Staff are pleasant and attentive. Come again? Yes. Suggestion - think about doing an early bird special at reduced price pre 10am.

Very disappointed. Extremely poor service. The restaurant was empty. When the waitress arrived we asked what the soup of the day was and she didn't know. She also didn't know if the soup was vegetarian. We then waited almost half an hour for food, listening to laughing and chatting between the staff the entire time, whilst there was no one else to serve. All we ordered was 2 Toasties, a smoothie and a soup. The smoothie came 20 minutes before the rest of our food. We could hear the microwave beeping the entire time, so I knew our food would be microwaved. Why it was taking so long I had no idea. When the food finally arrived, the Toastie (£7.50) was not piping hot, warm at best, it was supposed to have caramelized onions but they were still crunchy, they were pretty much just sauteed, the soup (£4) was clearly microwaved and had very bad flavour, the croutons on the soup were greasy and deep fried, and the smoothie (£6) was very average, tasted like one I could buy from the shop. At the end of our meal one of the staff came to us and said they were busy preparing other foods for the next day and so our food took longer. Why prioritise possible future customers when you have ones waiting in your restaurant now? We spent in total £25 just for a simple lunch, everything was such poor quality, the service was awful and I was extremely dissatisfied by the end. I don't recommend going here, I will never return...

This was our first of many revisits to come. I simply can't fault the menu options, customer service, the quality and freshness of ingredients, and the skills of the chef. My Full English was a taste explosion with each bite. My wife's Berry Pancakes were beautifully made fresh and packed with flavour. The sourdough sourced from a local artisan baker was everything sourdough should be with the tangy flavour from the bakers culture. Quite often, other sourdough offerings miss this element. I recommend this venue to enjoy any item from the menu, from a quick coffee and sourdough toast if you are on the go or a relaxing and taste bud explosion of delightful flavours as...
