Food For Thought — Restaurant in Teignbridge

I have never had a bad meal at Food For Thought at Molloys in Teignmouth, and at this point, my friends are starting to get a bit annoyed by how often I insist we meet here. But honestly, I can’t help it—this place is just that good!

While the burger selection is on the smaller side, it definitely covers all the bases, so there's something for everyone. And if you're like me and sometimes want to ditch the bun, going "naked" with a salad and slaw instead is no trouble at all. They’re incredibly accommodating.

For me, the frickles are absolutely essential—crispy, tangy, and the perfect side to any meal. But the real star of my most recent visit was the Krispy Korean chicken burger. It was hands down one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever had. As someone who has travelled the world and considers burgers a go-to comfort food, I have to give serious compliments to the chef and team. They know what they’re doing here.

Me and my partner popped in at 5.40pm yesterday evening to pre order some food for later on in the evening. The women behind the bar would not let us pre order and said we would have to come back in 20 minutes. I asked if she could please take the order now and pass in to the kitchen when they open to save me walking all the way back home and I'll pay upfront for the food which was a total of £38. She turned down the order.. We decided to pre order online instead as i had my heart set on the Italian burger which said it would be ready for 18.50. (Also had a message at 7pm to say it was ready to collect) My partner waited anxiously feeling really uncomfortable for 40 minutes by the time our order was bought out. I understand is bank holiday weekend and its busy everywhere but the girl behind the bar was extremely unhelpful. We ordered: Caramelised onion beef burger… with fries and coleslaw Chorizo jam chicken burger Salt and pepper hash browns

The burgers were delicious. The fries were good, just not very hot but that can be expected when having food delivered. The coleslaw was nice.

The salt and pepper hash browns were £8 and not worth it at all! There was only 4 (what looked like freezer) hash browns and they were soggy, i guess the condensation mostly caused this but I’m sure they could’ve been cooked longer.
