Wendy's — Restaurant in Adel

I was so disappointed in the service! In the drive thru, I was looking forward to a nice cold frostie, but the line was so long. After ten minutes, I finally pulled up and ordered a frostie and a burger, and you'll never believe what I didn't get. When I pulled up to the window, the lady handed me the burger, and there was no burger. That is fine because mistakes are made, but the lady about lost it on me. She said that I didn't order it because it wasn't on the receipt and I had to go back in line to order the frostie. I was not looking forward to go back in the line, and I simply asked if I could get it here since that is what I ordered. That's when the attitude came up, and I was not happy. She pitched a fit and went to go get my frostie after 5 minutes if arguing about if I actually ordered the frostie. Any regular fast food place would be more than happy to help me out and get what I ordered, but not this lady. After I eventually got my frostie, that was melted, I told her thank you. I'm not going to be a jerk just because she was. She gave me the death stare and turned around and left. This is the last time I ever go to...

Ordered a hamburger tonight when I got it the bun was on the stale side and there was a tomato on it which I don't like so I took it off and took a bite. I happened to look at the tomato and noticed green, I examined it and realized that it was fuzzy mold 😑 I went to the counter to show the manager that way they knew and could check the other slices, she was rude about. She wanted to argue with me about it being moldy. She told me it was bruised, I told her it was fuzzy, she told me it was just a little bit and I just stared at her like "are you stupid?" So she asked if I wanted another, I told her no. Like why would I? Anyways she didn't offer anything to me besides that a new hamburger. Then I went back to my seat and my husband showed me a hair that was inside the fry box. It was red so I knew it wasn't any of ours. Anyways, the place sucked. Which is understandable since it's fast food. But mold is sort of serious. If you like hard buns, moldy tomatoes and hairy fries, this Wendy's is the place to be! If not, go to Taco Bell...

Our cashier at the front counter was lovely, I am not sure what her name was, but she had a beautiful birthmark on her left cheek. She handled a very Karen type customer with grace, however, her passive manager was little to no help at all, she was very anti confrontational, and did not help the star employee with the difficult customer, the manager was a dirty blonde 50ish looking woman. Also the coordinator for the front counter cashier was working very hard and tried to help by getting the Karen’s order out quickly. The rest of the staff (besides the manager) were moving very quickly and helped keep the line running very smoothly, also, the manager slowed down the sandwich line when she tried to help, but the sandwich maker by herself was doing amazing. God bless having staff like our front cashier, she was working very hard and kept her cool the whole time.
