I have a question. Is Wendys the place to eat any longer? Remember placing your order and whatever showed on the screen that's what you got? Remember the hot juicy burger, not too much catsup, mustard or mayo, it was just right! Where is that Wendys??? On last night I drive to Wendy's eat Market St, Akron, OH. I hear the manager cussing the staff because the drawer was short $42... first sign... I order a single with catsup, mustard, pickle, onion and mayo. I get cheese on a hamburger. When did hamburgers become cheeseburgers Or vise versa? After a refund, because I'm told, I'm difficult, because I express my dislike for cheese on my hamburger... I ask for a refund after waiting a ridiculous amount of time. I drive to another Wendys. Gilchrist Canton Rd... Place the same order. The screen reads; ONLY catsup, mustard, pickles, onions and mayo. I'm hyped. I receive two chicken sandwiches... second sign. Now chicken is the hamburger. I'm thinking this is a sign... But, I really wanted that burger.. I give the chicken sandwich back and wait for my hamburger. I remain hopeful. What do you think I get... Wait for it... a cheeseburger. I ask the manager, what does my order read? She repeats thee order as I ordered it. She saiisy, That's my fault, I put cheese on iit. We add cheese to hamburgers. When did this chnge? The "Only" sign on the screen means NOTHING. You have to say, "no cheese, please", on your HAMBURGER. When I finally get a hamburger, mayo, catsup and mustard are all over the sandwich. I mean, It's running everywhere. I hunk my horn. The manager ignores me at first. She comes back to the window. I show her the burger. I say, this is terrible don't you agree? She agrees and apologizes. I say, I won't eat this, you may keep it and my money. And I drive away. Loud and clear.. stay away from the burger at Wendy's... Go where people take pride in...

Not only did I ask for my food fresh and explained I'd wait for my food. I was very polite. This manager never apologized, he kept mumbling negative things under his breath. He got up, so I asked a stranger in line to touch my fries to prove they were cold. Then he decided to give me them fresh. He had a smerk on his mouth and he said, I just dropped them. My whole order was messed up. I waited ten to fifteen and I came inside none of my food was fresh. I almost started crying cause he was so ignorant. So Another Manager came up, a Caucasian guy who was very, very polite. His whole attitude was very warming, he apologize. Redid my whole order, and made sure it was fresh. I told the first manager the diet root beer was out he never came out to fix it. The young guy at the register Marcus was in shook. That young man actually stated he's always rude, and apologized. Back to the nice manager, he treated me kind, had our food fresh and got us drinks behind the counter. He is what a company wants in representing there company and I thank and appreciate that. So before we leave I ask for a refill. The great manager said yes, "Marcus" give them a large. The rude manager fussed about it, which I was in the dining room and could here him. So I asked Marcus, is everything OK, and he said,yea!!! He just didnt wanna give it to you and shook his head. I couldn't believe he was so rude, I swear this is no lie. Then a young lady came in for her shift asked him was she on register, and he told her, DONT WORRY ABOUT IT. Wendy's please have a sit down with this disrespectful human being and get him together, cause as of now I won't be back. But I Thank the Other a manager for his attentiveness...
Read moreI guess they changed their hours even though Google says they are open until 1 AM. I pulled up to the drive thru at 11:27 PM and waited a few minutes before a woman came on the speaker sounding annoyed and said they weren't taking orders. I asked her if their hours changed and she got an attitude and asked me who I was talking to. I said whoever is on the speaker telling me you aren't taking orders. I then asked why she had such an attitude towards a customer since she is in the service industry and she replied saying "No I am the manager." If one of my employees spoke to a customer like this today they would not have a job tomorrow. This woman named Alyssa that claimed to be a manager is throwing away potential revenue refusing to take orders while the sign is lit up and the store looks to be VERY open for business. Completely unreal.
