Why I went: I was craving an acai bowl
Parking: Shares a parking lot with other stores at the Alameda shopping Center; there are plenty of spots
Prices: Kind of pricey. Almost $8 for one acai bowl and it doesn't matter if the acai bowl you pick out if the three they offer is made with more fruits or more protein in it the price is still the same.
Service: The cashier/food preparer I got was not professional at all. I asked him which acai bowl he likes the best and he responded "I don't like any of them" which shocked me because I think where you work you need to know all the foods you are serving/making and be able to make recommendations to your customers. Also, as he was making my acai bowl he cussed out loud which I thought was very unprofessional. I noticed the other cashier/food preparer when I was there was very friendly and helpful with the other customers, so maybe I just got unlucky.
Will I go again: I'm very hesitant to go back again. I would say to go only if you KNOW what you are getting, or if you have questions about the menu make sure you ask a girl.
A plus: Now offers smoothies...
Read moreToday around 1pm, I️ had the WORST experience at the SouthShore Jamba Juice location which may impact me being a customer unless it’s resolved and taken care of. Maria who apparently is the “lead” at SouthShore Jamba Juice is beyond RUDE and did NOT provide any customer service,. I️ have an allergy to soy milk and have always been able to replace soy milk with coconut milk to my drinks at no charge, yet Maria was disrespectful and distasteful . Despite me informing her this disgraceful “lead” of an employee that I️ cannot have soy milk due to my allergy, she disregarded it and proceeded to be very condescending , discounting that I️ cannot have soy milk in my drink. I️’ve left a message for Alex who is supposedly the general manager of this location. I do hope I️ get a call back and this matter is dealt with accordingly . Maria should NOT be a lead and can definitely benefit from a lot more training especially about what proper etiquette and customer...
Read moreTerrible service. No one greeted us when we walked in. Worker refused to make my FRESH ginger shot. They tried giving me presqueezed juice from the morning that has been sitting out for hours. I asked nicely twice if they could make it fresh and the girl told me no. Ended up getting a refund and left. From a former Jamba Juice general Manager you shouldn’t refuse to make a fresh shot just because you already cleaned the machine. I came in HOURS BEFORE they were going to close. Just lazy. Mind you, my friend and I were the ONLY customers in the store. I also reached out to Jamba support over a week ago and no one bothered to...
