Don't EVER go to the Buffalo Wings in Alamogordo, NM.
I decided to order Online Takeout from this Buffalo Wild Wings at 9:18 p.m. and the order receipt said my food would be ready by 9:40 p.m. When I arrived at 9:50 p.m., the female cashier had a poor attitude and said my food would be "right out". Ten minutes later (10:00 p.m.), what looked to be the manager (who asked if we had been helped in a snide tone), the female cashier, and another employee (wearing a man bun and completely avoided eye contact) walked out, I presume trying to figure our where our orders even were in their system. I say "our" because there was another customer who had also ordered Online Takeout who had been sitting next to me for much longer. Moreover, two, count 'em, two more customers came in and picked up their orders before us promptly, while me and the customer sitting on the bench sat confused. At 10:18 p.m., the customer sitting on the bench finally got her order. Subsequently, a lady with jet black hair came out, didn't even call out my name, just gave me a questioning look as she set my order on the Pickup rack and went back into the kitchen. At 10:25 p.m. I finally received my order... The man with the man bun then came out and asked if we had an order that was a dine-in, when he had obviously seen me waiting for Takeout. By then, I was checking my order to make sure everything was right and told him I was waiting for approximately 40 minutes. He said "Okay... sorry" and went back to the kitchen. What's perplexing about this is in the time that I placed the order (at 9:18 p.m.) to the time they just started my order (10 p.m.), my order could have already been ready. Furthermore, the restaurant had at most 3 dine-in customers with multiple staff coming in and out of the kitchen, so it's not like it was extremely busy nor understaffed. I am EXTRAORDINARILY disappointed with the service, the general attitude of the employees, and the food. The wings I ordered were cold in the center, extremely tough to chew, and made my stomach turn in every bite. I ended up throwing away TEN wings out of the 30 I ordered for a friend and myself, simply because they were too nauseatingly disgusting. Absolutely abhorrent! Read moreI have given this location an honest chance but it keeps disappointing. I have been here 3 times over the last year, and every time the service is with a smile and the drinks are always full. The problem I have here is getting our food to the table together in a timely manner. On my family's first visit they didn't make my son's order and we waited for it so we could eat together. The second trip was a larger party and they let us know ahead of time that they were short staffed. We agreed, but they forgot my meal on this visit. I figured it was because they were short handed. By the time I got my food everyone was done eating and I took it to go. My trip today (8-31-2022) was a table for four. The food came out and the waitress let me know my plate was coming out shortly. A few minutes went by and she came to refill our drinks and let me know again my meal is almost done. A third time she came and said the cook fell behind and he just started on my meal. By this time about 20 minutes later everyone was done with their meals and I let the waitress know to just cancel my order. I was only offered a "sorry for the inconvenience" from the waitress. I don't know what's happening here when I visit this location. The restaurant was empty and there were only two other tables seated while we were there. My family enjoys the food here, so most likely I'll be going back for another missed...

I placed an online order, got the time frame of when it would be ready, and showed up to collect my food on time; only to have to wait an additional 40 minutes before the staff realized they allowed someone to else to take my food. When I asked about any refunds for my order the smug manager said all he could do was either take off one order of wings or refund all the money to me without any food. Mind you it was them that allowed my previous order to be stolen, I had to wait 40 extra minutes before anyone even acknowledged I didn’t get my food, and then on top of that the attitude was just added insult to an already messed up situation. Here’s a major tip: either hire more people to man that check in area to assure people’s food get to them correctly, or stop using the honor system if there is no verification. Note to anyone thinking of placing an online order here: don’t. Place it in Las Cruces, El Paso, or even another country, that way you know that even though you may have to travel far it will still take this Buffalo Wild Wings the same amount of time to make the food here in Alamogordo.
