El Green Go's catered our wedding this past June in Palmer, Alaska and provided a delicious, seamless, and wonderful experience. We chose the full service catering package which included El Green Go's fully managing the set up, operation, and tear down of the buffet tables and we could not be more happy with our choice. El Green Go's arrived and set up everything promptly with no issues or setbacks. During dinner, they stood behind the buffet tables and helped explain what everything was and answered any questions our guests had. This was extremely helpful because El Green Go's supplied a countless amount of toppings, salsas, sauces, and cheeses to top our tacos. The food was absolutely incredible and one of if not the best taco we have ever had. This same sentiment was shared to us by our guests throughout the night. After dinner was over, they packed up the leftovers into large to-go containers and left them neatly stacked up for us. Besides this, you would have had no clue they were ever there once they left since they did such a great job cleaning and packing. We highly recommend visiting El Green Go's downtown for quick bite to eat, or to cater...
Read moreLove the food here and it's definitely a nice original concept by having a organic/unorthodox Amercan style take on Mexican food...
The Burritos are off the chain and the Breakfast sandwiches are unlike any other🔥🔥
Now for the bad part...The lady who works there who has Dark wavy hair and looks Latino with a possible Raiders Jersey/shirt is the worst...The place is confusing because they have delicious food that's marinated on a grill outside a food truck with a very rude lady that in my opinion doesn't belong😡😡
Anyway they also ask for a tip verbally/awkwardly/aggressively which is odd for a pickup order food truck???? They also charge high Dollar for sour cream and salsa which is odd.
Note: will keep an open mind on raising my review score if the costumer service gets better in the future.
Update: 5 stars! Met uppermanagment/food stand today on G Street downtown and they're class acts...also Last time I went to the main food truck a (New) girl was working who is down to earth and...
Read moreHighly recommend. After we rented bikes on our first day in Anchorage we wanted something to eat. With an hour and a half wait and one place we stood outside debating what to do when a local said you need to try El Green Gos and took us over there (she was heading over herself) oh my goodness what a delight! When we planned our trip to Alaska we did not expect to find this little gem! Friendly service and the BEST food! We promptly texted a photo our friends who we had travelled with a picture of our food and the address so they could head over. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. It was very fresh and tasty. Great home made sauces, crunchy veggies (salad items). It was beautiful. A week later heading back to the airport after our Alaska trip we stopped in again for lunch and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We had an amazing Alaska adventure when we get home to Michigan and reminisce we will...
