If I could give zero stars, I would. Though I’ve tried to give this location more than enough chances, today was my last attempt. This location lacks good and friendly customer service from employees. I always find they feel as if they are forced to work there and it makes for an awkward and uncomfortable experience. I don’t know the employee’s name who was working the line and register because she doesn’t wear a name tag (none of them do) but wow they seem so annoyed and bothered by customers/working. I also noticed the prep cooks this morning weren’t in very good moods either as they kept staring at customers walking in but couldn’t smile or say hello. Such an unfriendly atmosphere and bad attitudes.
I had wanted something light and ordered a kids meal. My quesadilla was barley heated. The beans lacked flavor and tasted like they were sitting in pure water. The rice and chips were the only thing worth eating.
When I was rung up, I had to ask for my receipt and was given my food without a bag and had to awkwardly carry it out without dropping it. Then, when I went to fill my cup at the drink station, I saw how disgusting that area was. Spilt soda all over the counter, the soda machine looked like the nozzles hadn’t been taken apart and cleaned ever, and there was zero restock on the small lids even though I came right around open time.
If you live in Albuquerque and you are craving Chipotle, save yourself the time and head to the location off Coors. I’ll be sure to make the drive to that...
Read moreI may have gone during a shift change (just before 4). It wasn’t busy, about 6-7 customers were sitting eating. There were two women in front of me waiting to order. One employee was visible, cleaning tables. The rest were in the back coming from what seemed like a smoke break. A woman came over after a few minutes to assist the women in front of me. She seemed rushed and began shouting all the items they were out of. The food looked crusty and cold. She was able to ration what was left of the guacamole to fill our orders. I don’t particularly like rationed food when I’m paying extra. When this women rolled the burrito I began to wonder what burritos had done to her, she rolled with such aggression and force the rationed guac and lettuce ripped through the tortilla onto her fingers. No big deal to her, she just wrapped the mangled burrito in tin foil. I got this order to go. Upon arriving at my house I began eating, no surprise the food tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile. I’m a reasonable person and while observing the staff they seemed to be rushed with no sign of wanting to be there. It’s possible they did not have a shift lead or manager present to guide and encourage them. Perhaps this person could also ensure the food is fresh and backup guac is readily available.
Next day update: both of us have upset stomachs and frequent...
Read moreAs soon as I walked in, it was very obvious that this location was very understaffed. One woman was half-heartedly working the counter by herself while another was aimlessly bouncing around doing nothing in particular. A third was slowly filling bags of chips. Meanwhile, there was half-cooked chicken sitting unattended on what looks to be a cold grill since nobody attended to it in the ~20 minutes we were in the store.
When it was our turn to order, there was no white rice, fajita veggies, carnitas, steak, lettuce, or guac. Almost everything else was close to running out as well. There were lots and lots of chips though. The woman at the counter served me a very small portion of meat, it couldn't have been more than a teaspoon or two. When I asked for more, she said she would have to charge me for extra. I asked her to measure a 4 ounce portion, nothing extra. Turns out she tried to serve me maybe 2 ounces! Considering how generous she was with all the people in line in front of us, it was odd and felt pretty uncomfortable. Additionally, the chips were stale, the cash register malfunctioned, and the corn salsa tasted off. This has been my most disappointing Chipotle experience to date.
I recommend avoiding this location as it seems they are having serious issues with the quality of their personnel and lackluster...
