Old Barrel Tea Company is an absolute gem for tea lovers! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh herbs and spices instantly lifts your mood. The variety of teas they offer is truly impressive – everything from traditional black and green teas to unique herbal blends that you won’t find anywhere else.
What I love most is the quality and freshness of their products. Every tea I’ve tried tastes pure and full of flavor, with no artificial additives. Their herbal blends are crafted with so much care, and you can tell they’re passionate about what they do. I especially recommend trying their signature blends – they are perfect for relaxation, energy, or even a little wellness boost.
The staff is another reason this place stands out. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you find the right tea for your taste or health needs. They don’t just sell tea – they share brewing tips and creative pairing ideas too, which makes the experience even better.

Read moreThey're selling some of the lowest quality sencha I've ever seen or tasted. The leaves are broken and fragmented, the color is dull with no shine, there's almost no smell, and the taste has none of the light grassy notes you'd expect from sencha.
I've had better Sencha from Kirkland, the leaves were dust, but at least they were the correct color and flavor.
The only way someone could say that they stand behind this tea is either if they don't know anything about tea, or if they're lying through their teeth to make their business look good.
Take note that in the business's response they didn't say anything to defend the characteristics of their tea. They know what I'm saying is true.
I'm frustrated with this tea because this is the type of tea and the type of company that gives people the idea that they don't enjoy tea when all they've been drinking is trash. People put their trust in this kind of company to be experts in quality tea, and the business either doesn't know what they're doing or they don't care about their customers or...

The shop is full of little tea/coffee mugs, spices, candles, oh and they sell raw honey too. Got a huge jar of marigold honey which set me back $34. But it is soooo yummy! Tea is a little pricey too at $10 a tin or $35 for a large mason jar but they do offer deals...i bought 2 large mason jars of amazing loose leaf tea & got a free tin of loose leaf tea! A medium sized cup of fresh brewed tea was $3.95 & it was DELISH, just wish the cup would have been bigger, and I would loved to have seen a deal on it with a reusable store branded drinking cup instead of in a plastic disposable cup! All the young ladies in the shop are VERY knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. They also sell those fantastic Takeya Flash chill ice tea makers and they have the black ones for a decent price of $30. If you cant make it in store they are online...
