I placed a catering order to be filled through this location on 9/17. Order ID# number V9NM44G4Z for anyone keeping track. The order was set for 9/23. It was a lunch for 37 people, so I rounded up and ordered for 40.
On 9/22 I received an email stating an estimated delivery time for 9/23.
On 9/23 I received a text that the driver was waiting at 10:51, apparently they sublet the catering deliveries to doordash.
At 11:30 I called the store to follow up since the delivery window was 11:00-11:15. Couldn't reach anyone.
I called the 1-800 number at 11:32. They tell me the order is cancelled. I tell them I received a text the driver was waiting. I get put on hold, they come back and tell me "Sorry we were mistaken, the dasher just left, we have another one nearby and you should have the food in 12-15 minutes".
11:50 I receive a text saying my food is being delivered at 12:15pm.
At 12:45 I call the 800 number again. They tell me the order is cancelled. I ask why I received a text. I get put on hold a few minutes, they come back and say "I've tried to call the store three times. They won't answer the phone. I don't know what to say".
For 27 minutes the person on the phone tried to figure out what was going on, with no success. Eventually they tell me they are going to have to refund my money, they don't know where my order is, what happened, and can't reach anyone.
During 27 minutes I receive a text. At 1:05pm I get a text saying a driver has picked up my order.
At 1:23pm I receive another text saying "your delivery from Chipotle - Allen Park has been canceled. Please reach out to Chipotle - Allen Park directly for more information".
They took the payment 6 days prior, then fumbled things this poorly. As it stands, I have not received the refund they've promised either. This was a $646.94 order, and an absolutely terrible first experience. The incompetence...

I've tried going at all different times trying ti get Carne Asada... they know it takes 35 mins to make Carne Asada yet they wait until it's gone to make more and tell customers you can wait a half hour plus if you want it... my last experience I asked for double steak (because Carane Asada was gone again) they put just over a single portion and when I asked for more first 2 employees refuses (how are you gonna tell someone they can't have what they want when they are paying for it?) then when the manager came over I was made aware that I would be charged for 3 portions, by that time I was frustrated and wanted to get out of there... Like I said I go here multiple times a week and there are NO consistent portion sizes, it depends on the employee making your food... I've seen customers with tiny portions pay the same as someone 3 times as much just because they didn't want to speak up and that's not fair! ** If you know it takes 35+ mins to make Carne Asada... start making it when it gets down to half... people WILL buy it! Don't make customers wait 30+ minutes for the food your store is advertising all over... I've even tried calling before coming to the store to make sure they will have it... and the phone is automated and you can't get a human on the phone. Also, when ordering for delivery #1 guaranteed you will get a tiny portion as you're not there to speak up for yourself #2 if they don't have something you order they will automatically give you something else without contacting the customer and asking of this is ok... I've ordered extra brown rice, extra black beans, double Carne Asada, and double cheese and they gave me chicken (which I don't eat) AND despite me paying $38 for 1 bowl to be delivered you could see the bottom of the bowl... DON'T EVER ORDER DELIVERY IF YOU WANT WHAT...
Read moreSadly this Chipotle has continued to go downhill at a slow death pace. I do not like giving anyone a 1 ⭐️ review but this Chipotle’s likely the worst one there is. I had gone there a few times in the last two months and noticed a number of concerning things but we decided to give them another shot. After this one, my som said “dad, … you have to do a review on them after this fiasco and warn others so they don’t waste their money here too.” Unfortunately it was a disaster from the start. We walked in and were immediately told that they only had white rice, was out of brown rice and showed us that the white rice was clumpy and wet and said sorry… that’s how it came out and we were told we have to use this 😯. Then they were out of lettuce. Finally got our two burritos and drinks only to see they were out of ice along with every soda out or flat except Fanta Orange and Mr Pibb. Tried to find napkins but someone had just taken two big slabs of the cellophane wrapped napkin sleeves and put them out in the table unopened even though the napkin holders were right there next to them. So my son and I both opened the napkins up and filled the napkin holders. Now before you say “ I’m sure they were well short on help/employees and everywhere is short and people are trying their best… here’s the true picture of that night. 1) my son and I were 2 of 7 people there. Three others sitting only two others in line. 2) there were 9… yes NINE employees and one manager (that I saw) 3) two employees were at the back showing each other stuff on their phones and laughing. The ‘manager’ was the one who got ice for our cups. We love Chipotle’s food but we will NOT be coming back to this location. I’ll drive out of my way to go to Taylor location...
