This review is coming from someone that once worked as a Barista at Starbucks for over 3 years. I know how strong Starbucks feels when it comes to creating that meaningful experience with your customers. This store does NOT have that.
I placed a mobile order after leaving the doctors office (from being ill). I get into the drive thru line to pick up my order because I did not want to go into the store considering that I was sick. The app said my order would be ready at 10:04am and I made it to the window at precisely 10:04. Waited maybe 2 minutes and the barista comes to the window and tells me to pull around and come in for my order because they’re “backed up”. That irritated me because what’s the point in DT if you can’t use it. So, I pull around, put on a mask and proceed inside to grab my order. I asked to speak to the manager on duty which was Curtis at the time. I told him that I was told to come in for my drink in which I preferred not to do because I’m ill. He tells me that I could have just gotten back in line (yeah, and wait another 10 minutes for my hot beverage that would have been cooled at that point) and that they’re backed up right now. Didn’t try to “Make it right in the moment” (as any true Starbucks Barita would have known to do). This is the second time I’ve been to this Starbucks and received below par service. Told me not to do that next time. Honest mistake on my part but to go out of your way to say that to me just cause u had to put on your headset? Really?!. What crawled up your ⬆️ this morning? I’ve worked service a good portion of my life and kept things like that to myself or addressed them in a nicer more reasonable way. On top of that, he kept making looks at me thinking he was slick with it like I didn’t notice but I did. Read moreI get the same drink every time and I am aware of how much it adds like a few bucks on a couple drinks and then a couple extra drinks that are seasonal to the menu that we get for the family to try I don’t want to be judge with any comments and more so I don’t want to see your odd facial expressions DANIELLA your face screams that you hate your job please at least fake a smile since you work front of line customer service and I am a waitress myself I don’t need your bad attitude on my day off when I’m going to get a treat for my family and I.
