My wife and I went here for our anniversary. It was our first time there and we were expecting a great experience. That did not happen. Our waitress, Grace, was wonderful and did an excellent job. She was the best part of our experience. I ordered an appetizer and barely had a chance to eat it before our entree arrived. That might be okay for some folks but I dont see much point in getting an appetizer if it comes at almost the same time as the rest of the food. For my meal, i ordered the t bone steak. It was the saddest steak I've ever seen and had enough salt on it to preserve the meat for 50 years rather than be eaten. My wife ordered a side salad that was covered in plain vinegar and stunk so bad it could've ruined the appetite of the table adjacent to us. We explained to Grace that we were having a not so great experience and she asked if we would like the manager. We agreed that we should speak with her manager and assured Grace that she was doing a great job and it was not her fault. The manager... if you can call her that, was defensive and completely not personable. Her name is Amanda and she has NO idea how to interact in a customer service environment. She acted as though we shouldn't be disappointed with our food instead of apologizing and offering us an alternative. While they did remove the vile food we were served from the bill, it was clear to us that we were not valued or our business appreciated. Although we had intended to order more drinks and dessert we decided to go elsewhere for a more...
Read moreI have been to Longhorn quite a bit. I was really excited to go to get my usual outlaw ribeye. I ordered the onion tonion and it came out different from previous visits. Used to have a white sauce drizzled over it, not sure if it was sour cream but this time it didn't and it was loaded with salt. My mom and I can not have alot of salt. Never were they seasoned like that before. My mom had told the waitress about it. Rest of meal came out and bottom of steak was charred too much. Asparagus was so salty. Rice Pilaf was like a southwestern rice with an awful spice and very salty. Manager came out and we told him about things being salty. He said that they boldly season things that next time tell them light on the seasoning. I've been to this establishment before and never had that sort of issue. He offered to get us new food and we had gratefully said no thank you and he took the tonion appetizer off our bill. So he tried to make right. This was my favorite place to eat. I just hope they can get the salt matter under control there are alot of people out there who cannot have that much salt. Veggies really should not be salted like that. That is why there are salt and pepper shakers on tables. Just...
Read moreI wish I didn’t have to give any stars!! The food was amazing but the service was horrible. Took my client in the hostess didn’t seem happy at all to be there and asked if we wanted a table or booth!! For one my client is in a wheelchair so why ask if we want a booth knowing we need a table. Then our waitress brings appetizer plates and slammed it on the table being rude. I overlooked that then brought our drinks and slammed it on the table I overlooked it as well. We goto leave and at the door is the hostess and another worker just talking told us to have a good night but never once opened the door for us seeing my client in a wheelchair my hands full but not once did they offer to help. This was my second time eating at longhorn and will be my last!!! I was totally fine until we went to leave then to be seen with my hands full pushing a wheelchair not once did either one of the workers open the door!!! It didn’t seem like one worker there was happy to be there...
