BrainFreezerz — Restaurant in Altoona

Brain Freezerz we hit it at a short line time. Go around 1 PM., all other times we went by line was down the block.The ice cream was Brain Freezerz.

Stopped here after a meal in town right before close. Hadn't heard of it before, but decided to try the ice cream side of menu rather than the slush portion.

I asked for direction and thought the girl gave good guidance, so I ordered a 2+2 : two scoops and two cookies. What I should have done was asked (1) how big the cookies were and (2) how big the scoops were. Bc truly it was too much for me and the cookies were hard to get a taste of.

The ice cream was good - very creamy etc - but again I would have liked to taste or delineate between the cookies and the ice cream

Would try again- looks like a nice place to hang...

UPDATE: I went back and tried a different flavor. It was FANTASTIC! I’m glad the owner responded and gave the suggestion that something might’ve happened to that one flavor in particular , I had it 3 days in a row. Tried a different flavor tonight and wow! Will be back a lot!

Just a little cart on the side of the boulevard. Ritchey ice-cream, not soft serve but definitely satisfying. Surprised at the quantity. They have a cookie stacker bowl. It was delicious. Staff was really friendly. First time there and they were patient to explain all the options. Didn't rush me out like some other places or go chince on the quantity. I would definitely go...
