Big flavors, hearty bowls, and standout sprouts—Rakkan Ramen satisfies with substance even if the vibe stays simple.
Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Rakkan Ramen delivers where it matters most: bold flavors and satisfying portions.
The Hot Brussels Sprouts Salad was the undeniable star. The sprouts were crispy, well-charred, seasoned beautifully, and paired with the house Rakkan dressing that added the perfect umami touch. The texture, warmth, and sauce made this dish stand out as more than just a side—it’s a must-order.
The Spicy Quartz Vegan Ramen packed a flavorful punch. The miso base was rich and well-balanced, the spice level was just right without overpowering, and the noodles and veggies were well cooked and seasoned. It was hearty enough to feel like a complete meal—you’ll keep slurping even after you’re full.
Presentation was clean and inviting. The plating of both dishes felt thoughtful and fresh, enhancing the overall experience.
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) The service was quick, welcoming, and efficient. The staff made great recommendations, and though the space is small, the wait times were minimal, even without a reservation. A warm, guest-first approach really elevated the dining experience.
Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) While the food impresses, the ambience is quite basic. The minimalist decor and plain walls don’t quite match the vibrant flavors being served. A bit more atmosphere or cultural character would go a long way in rounding out the experience.
Pricing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Rakkan hits a sweet spot in pricing—generous portions, quality ingredients, and balanced vegetarian options make it a great value. For lighter eaters, a bowl of ramen can easily be shared. The menu is clear and diverse enough for both ramen purists and casual diners.
Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Rakkan Ramen is a solid pick for anyone craving flavorful, plant-based ramen or a standout small plate. While the ambiance could use a lift, the service, value, and especially the Brussels sprouts will have you coming...

Menu offers lovely array of appetizers, sushi, bowels and ramen. They have a separate kids menu. Wonderfully, all the ramen bowels come as meet based or vegan. The broths with the vegan version were delicious. The avocado bowel was also a hit with another member of our party. It is a smaller place, with a minimalist modern decor that works well. Service is excellent. I suspect it is going to be quite busy once they are officially open.
Update: ate there again. Reminder: Google maps has its location wrong currently. It is on the second floor, next to the Starbucks. They are still in their soft opening phase though, other than the liquor license they will have on their Grand Opening April 6, they are running smoothly now.
We had the braised Brussel sprouts (photo) tonight and, goodness, they are so delicious. Also tried the vegan bao bun, which was quite tasty. The garnet vegan ramen was again a hit as was the...

I ordered the Hot Brussels Sprouts Salad, Chicken Karaage, Amber Ramen, and Spicy Garnet Ramen—all of them were absolutely delicious.
The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and dipping them in the sauce made them even better. The Chicken Karaage (forgot to take pictures!) was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Fried chicken is often too dry for my taste, but this was just right.
The Amber Ramen was light and refreshing with subtle seasoning, while the Spicy Garnet Ramen was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Both broths were amazing—it just depends on what you prefer!
The service was outstanding. The staff was professional, attentive, polite, and incredibly friendly. They took great care of us.
The restaurant itself has a cozy, clean, and stylish atmosphere....
