Came here for a timeshare meeting… my apartment has nicer offerings. They want you to take out financing or buy outright. The only appealing timeshare offer is 130 grand…. The rest that are cheaper have a little to no value. The sales people refuse to answer your direct questions and instead try to guilt trip you into buying. It was supposed to be a two hour meeting with lunch. There was no lunch and I was forced to stay three hours because they kept trying to sell me on something that was clearly not worth buying. Even when i said no, the guy was trying to guilt trip me saying “what kind of daughter I am for not wanting to get a timeshare to take my mom out every single year… “. Financing is basically down payment for a house. And when I told him I didn’t wanna buy , he refused to let me go. And accused me of choosing a house over my mother’s happiness. This was a fimeahee for me. And he asked me who i was taking to my tropical bwach stay, I supposedly won for attending . I said my mother and from then on out it became all ahout guilt tripping. He refused to answer any of my questions about the fees and costs which I asked from the gecko and only after three hours later did he finally bring out a paper telling me I need to finance $127,000?. I was forced to stay longer than I was told. I lost gas money in three hours of my life. And never got my prizes redeemed. I fall out all the instructions the gifting centre and QR codes gave me. Nothing is working and they will not answer the phone
Amenities were cheap and dated looking, only the hotel rooms were nice ish. Front desk Employees were unfriendly , snobby and unhelpful. No one from giftinf returns calls for fake non existent prizes.
I Was promised 3 prizes for attending 2 hr timeshare.
dodger tickets- (qr code) - NEVER got them after registering QR code .
food gift card- is actually a dining dough discount card , with low quality food options that can only be used for restaurants.com . It has to be redeemed online or print out its coupon to participating restaurants. If you’re given a $50 gift card you can only get a $25 coupon and then you have to spend another $25. There is minimum purchase. So essentially, the gift card is a worthless coupon that doesn’t work anywhere and you still have to pay half of whatever you buy, even if you havnt spwnt the whole $50.
4 night tropical beach stay: You have to mail in the form and then wait two weeks for acknowledgement letter. And if that acknowledgement letter ever happens to arrive, you have to send along a $50 check for the taxes on that… Even though I was told that I’d only pay $29.95/ per night and NOT until my stay begins… I still have not received my acknowledgement letter or dodger tickets and food gift card is worthless…
Worldmark anaheim refuses to answer the phone. Prizes are all QR code style and need to be physically mailed to redeem. Cost me $7 go mail and I arill have received 0 prizes or response.
Waste of gas $$...
Read moreMy family and I had an absolutely terrible experience during the sales presentation at WorldMark Anaheim. We arrived the night prior and were staying as guests of my Sister-in-law. We were promised a "fun" sales presentation, and we made it clear to the concierge who signed us up that we had no intention of buying a timeshare—especially since we already had access through our family. Despite this, we were forced to sit through 2 hours and 15 minutes of relentless pressure from the salesperson, Mona Lisa.||From the very beginning, Mona Lisa was rude and dismissive of my needs. I told her at the start of the presentation that I have medical issues with my back and would need to stand most of the time. Later, she used this against me, claiming that my standing was "bothering and concerning" everyone in the room, which was both insensitive and humiliating.||Throughout the presentation, Mona Lisa constantly interrupted me and even attempted to portray my wife as someone who has to "put up" with me. She took things further while we were walking down the hallway to view a suite, telling my wife that my opinions didn't matter and that I should keep them to myself—all because I expressed that I did not want to buy a timeshare. The presentation was supposed to be 90 minutes, as promised by the concierge desk, but Mona Lisa stretched it out to over two hours, with no regard for the promise made to us or our time.||We made it very clear from the start that we were not interested in buying a timeshare. It doesn't suit our needs, and we do not see any value in it—especially with the ongoing monthly maintenance fees. Despite this, Mona Lisa continued her aggressive tactics, making the entire experience feel like we were being strong-armed into a purchase we clearly didn't want.||To make matters worse, after this awful experience, I spoke with manager Randy, who was sympathetic and promised that someone from the sales department would reach out to apologize. He assured me multiple times that this would happen, but we never received any follow-up call or apology. It's extremely disappointing to see that even after expressing our grievances, the promises made to address our concerns were empty.||Why is your sales department so aggressive towards people who have explicitly said they are not interested? And why promise a "fun and easy-going" sales presentation if the reality is a pushy and uncomfortable experience? These misleading tactics do nothing but frustrate and alienate your guests. If WorldMark is truly the best vacation timeshare, as claimed, then such high-pressure tactics should be...
Read moreThis place is the literal definition of sales pressure. We completed a tour with TJ and it was great. He was very kind. Then he brought in the hard sales pressure very tall woman who’s title was real estate agent allegedly, I don’t remember her name but I will never forget what a bully she tried to be basically guilting us into becoming members. I stated multiple times we could not afford what she was presenting and she would make egregious claims such as “I’m looking out for you” then present us with a SIXTEEN percent interest rate and when we pointed out the interest rate for this “deal” she glossed over it and quickly changed the subject. When I said I needed at least 24 hours to think about such a large purchase she told me since I had done a tour previously I had already had that time and needed to buy in to become a member, I continued to say no, she continued to push. I don’t typically raise my voice at complete strangers but she brought that out of me, I am humiliated that I had to basically yell at her in a room full of strangers to finally accept we did not want to buy in to this! For people that can afford it maybe it’s great but as I explained our financial situation multiple times we do not have the additional $300+ a month to buy in. Then in true scam artist fashion she suggested opening a credit card to pay. I explained my career requires me to not have a lot of debt and she STILL did not care and continued to push! Told us we would never be given a deal through the company because we’ve declined twice regardless if our financial situation changes in the future. Absolutely disgusting sales pressure.. Please train your staff the way I’m teaching my two year old son that NO is a complete sentence. Based on HER interaction with me alone I will be screaming from the rooftops to never get involved with your time share scam because she made it clear you only care about the sale and ripping off people through SALES PRESSURE! Oh and what a shock at the end they brought In Joe for an exit survey and he magically had a cheaper option we considered but still said no and he then presented 2 more cheaper options!! Again, a scam....
