Food was fine. My issue with my experience today was completely on service! My family was here for lunch today. We came in at 1253. It took a few minutes to be seated. The host said he had to clean some tables to sit us. Its lunch...they were NOT busy. So he sat us. My husband ordered a large bud light draft. My kids ordered the blue fizz and I just had a water. The waitress brought our beverages, except the beer. She took our order (5 salads, 2 kids chicken and pasta, kids mac and cheese, a 1/2 bacon avocado burger and the chicken bacon quesadilla), then said she would go check on the beer. In the mean time one other group sat down and ordered their beverages. The gentleman there ordered a draft beer also...and he got his. He actually got 2 while my husband still waited for his 1. So when she brought the two salads for my husband and I, she still didnt bring his beer. I asked if she could bring the kids salads out also because they were watching us eat...and wanting our salads. She said it came with the food. So a few minutes later a guy brings out our food, and the kids salads. When the waitress finally came to check on us, I asked for another water for my husband. She said oh, I'll go check on that beer. I told her forget the beer, just get a water. So, she came back with napkins and said here are the napkins, what else can I get you. I said uh, the water. And she asked if it needed to be in a kids cup or regular cup. I said, um, it's for him, as I pointed to my husband. So she brings the water, and goes on her marry way. Tending to other tables. None of our hot food was hot and the fries were actually cold. Time comes to pay and I tell her the kiosk is not working. So instead of just taking my card and money, she tells me she will put it on another kiosk. So she gave me another kiosk, went and tended to other tables, as I tried to pay with a gift card. She never came to see if it was working or if I needed help. I tried for about 5 minutes to run this gift card. My kids were really getting antsy at this time. We have been here over an hour! Not even necessary! So I finally walk to the bartender and asked him to please help because not a single person came by the table in over 5 minutes that I could ask for help. So he very kindly got my bill pulled up and had to type in the gift card. Since I was standing at the bar, just waiting for him to finish, my waitress saw me and asked if I needed help. No, lady. I dont need help. I needed help 10 minutes ago! I will never visit this location again. I could see if they were busy, but they were not. The waitress said she usually has a section partner, but if you cant take care of maybe 5 tables in your section without a helper, waitressing may not be the right career. I have never been so upset at a restaurant. I've also never been in a restaurant over an hour, even...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am an autistic woman who decided to go to lunch at a rather usually loud restaurant. It was pretty quiet for the most part when I went, and low-key. I bought one of the unlimited game passes on the tablet. I took a couples quiz before my partner went out to smoke for a minute. I was playing trivia and exited the game when it said 'table 15 reset. please wait a moment' And I looked for the bill, and it was gone. I texted my partner there's an issue with the tablet and theres no pay options so I went out to bring them their bag with their wallet as they came back inside, I guess we had just missed each other and I hadn't known they just came in right before I got to the front door.
I decided to step out of the front door to look around the front when i heard a 'Hey! you haven't paid' I tried to explain the tablet error and that my partner was suppose to be coming in,but before I knew it he stopped me to tell me he's getting his manager and to stay put, and said one of us needed to stay in there because I hadn't found my partner. I felt like crying, and an anxiety attack had began. He had a woman sit next to me and I tried to explain to her my partner was just out front and I have autism and that I wasn't trying to walk out like our waiter had been trying to insinuate to me. She didn't say a single word.
My partner was already inside. They talked to the waiter and manager about the same exact thing I said and that we were trying to meet one another at front to find someone to fix it. The waiter tried to convince the manager for some odd reason that we maybe were not truthful and I was going outside fully to my partner when I clearly had barely set foot outside the first set of doors. I know it looked weird, but as a woman with autism it was disheartening that the ONLY understanding person was the kind manager.
I am disappointed so heavily with the way staff managed this and that the manager was the only rational one and only person who even seemed to believe me. I know I am frantic and was scared of being accused of walking out, but given, my partner was right inside, to try to fix the error right away. I will not be returning, as I feel discriminated against and criminalized when I didn't do anything wrong besides...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrought my son for his birthday, the hostess cleaned us off a table in the bar, and left the seats full of old food crumbs which was red flag #1. Waited about 20+ minutes for our drinks, another 20+ min. for our chips and salsa, which I had to ask for a second time. She completely forgot my salad all together. Waited another 20+ minutes for our food which came out looking old, and was totally soggy and cold. My son ordered the ribeye medium, it was so overly well done, thin and looked like it was bought at the dollar tree, and the butter on top was curdled and practically dust. We weren't going to complain, all's he wanted was some A-1 to drown the nasty steak he was brought. They honestly shouldn't have even brought this steak out looking the way it did.. the rest of us were done eating our nasty food by the time they brought out the A-1 sauce for him. My other son broke his tooth on his soggy hardened chicken crisper, by the time we got home, we all felt sick. Aweful experience, horrible service and food. This isn't even a location issue, it's all the Michigan Chili's I've been too, I don't think I'll even ever go back to any Chili's here, it's lost it's touch and isn't able to stay staffed, clean, or serve a decent meal, it's sad tbh, we ate next to a dirty table, in dirty seats..... I should have asked for a full refund and wish I hadn't tipped, it was not at all deserving, lack of staff is not an excuse for poor quality, cleanliness or service ..... I wouldn't mind the waits if our experience would have been even slightly decent.... A good meal is generally worth the wait....
