I recently had the pleasure of dining at Leo Restaurant in Annapolis for a special Valentine's Day date with my fiancé. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with exceptional service that made us feel welcome and valued. The food at Leo's was some of the best I've ever had. Every dish was bursting with flavor and freshness, and it was clear that the ingredients were carefully selected and expertly prepared. We indulged in a variety of dishes, from appetizers to entrees, and each one was more delicious than the last. But what truly set Leo's apart was the outstanding service provided by our bartender, Sam. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Her knowledge of the menu and drink selections was impressive, and she made expert recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Sam's warm and inviting personality truly made our dinner one to remember. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable and memorable experience, even stopping by our table to chat and share stories. Her exceptional service was the highlight of our evening, and we left the restaurant feeling grateful for the wonderful experience she provided. In fact, Sam was so outstanding that I feel compelled to suggest that Leo's give her a raise! Her level of service and commitment to her craft is truly deserving of recognition and reward. Overall, I cannot recommend Leo's Restaurant highly enough. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and we will definitely be returning for future special occasions. If you're looking for a restaurant that delivers an exceptional dining experience, look no further than Leo's...
Read more10/10 First impression - the place is stylish, elegant, and yet cozy. I was welcomed with a big smile from the host. Dining alone, I opted to eat at the bar. The bartender was friendly as I inquired about a bubbly mocktail. He suggested Take It To Darrell’s, and boy was that delicious (greedy me would have preferred a bigger glass). My curiosity was piqued with the Golden Crispy Grits. A+ on creativity and execution. It was very unique to a Seattleite like me. However, the spotlight ultimately goes to the Snakehead dish. My oh my, I love the symphony of different flavors and textures: the sweetness from the corn, the freshness of the cherry tomatoes, the snakehead cooked right, the sauces, to the micro cilantro for a well-rounded meal. I finished the night with the Peanut Butter Mouse guilt-free (it’s vegan, yay!).
The staff was warm and attentive. I felt special that night. I was treated like it was my birthday. Given it was a quiet late Monday night, but I can only imagine it would be extra special if you’re celebrating an occasion. My only predicament after I dined with Leo Annapolis is that I live in the West Coast. I still reminisce about my dining experience there. I can't wait to go back to Baltimore and try the...
Read moreWe have had take out food from here multiple times. Everything has always been great. We usually get the smash burger which we love. But I wasn’t feeling it tonight so wanted to try something new. So I got the crab soup and a side of Brussels. I am aware that food is always better served at the restaurant. That to go food does not always transport the best. But transporting and completely not providing, the expected amount are two different things.
My crab soup came in a 16oz container and this is where it was filled too. I’m just not sure why this much amount would be missing. Especially for $18, I am happy to pay for cost of using crab cause I understand the value and price. But to then present it this way, seems a little slap in the face. Not much lump meat, seemed like the bottom of the pot servings. If this is the amount for a to go crab soup, I think it would make sense to charge a little less. So it matches to the amount you are receiving. I also had the Brussels sprouts as a side. First time and I must say they were very overcooked and had no bite to them.
Atmosphere is always wonderful and we look forward to having the time to eat in person and have a...
