If you want an authentic Irish Pub, you want to come here. They carry a vast selection of whiskeys from Ireland, excellent bourbon selection, and a great top shelf offering of fine scotch. You'll not find a tap of light anything. The tap line consists of several nitrogen infused favorites, and a few lagers. If Irish cider wets your whistle, they've got you covered there as well.

Several organizations and groups with an Ibernian bend call McGuinness Irish Pub home. They support the local Hurling club, have weekly Irish "session" music, Irish language lessons, and the local Shamrock club meeting there.

Cozy pub in downtown Appleton. Atmosphere is subdued, not loud which is a nice. Wait staff is friendly and very accommodating. Their Reubens are amazing. So delicious, and served promptly. They have a nice food menu. Others in our party got the Irish Stew and Cottage Pie, which were both excellent as well. If you haven't tried them for food, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and give them a try. I have lived here almost 6 years now, and I'm still amazed by the excellent choices in restaurants we have, especially the bars. Where I am from a bar is a bar, not a great place to eat that also...

Walked in around 8pm on a Saturday night. Ordered a shot of Slane and a beer. Tipped $2 for the round. Drank half the beer, had to visit the men's room, so I put a bar coaster over my drink. By the time I got back to the bar 5 minutes later, the male bartender had already thrown away my beer. I called him out on his unprofessional behavior and had him pour me a replacement. Afterwards, the female bartender kept asking me, "Are you done?" any time I put a coaster on top of my drink. I responded by turning over the empty glass and placing it on the...
