McDonald's — Restaurant in Archdale

Rating would have been much higher, but, well, drive thru, but I am leaning......ordered a cheeseburger, quarter pounder w/cheese, no onion, two mocha frappé. On screen correct order, on receipt correct order. They were busy, paying went smoothly, and the second window got the frappé. One was so messily made it was in a second cup and still had drainage on the outside of the cup. He handed the cups and asked to move to window 3. Had to ask for napkins so as not to get the mess in the vehicle. Moved to window three and got the food without much of a wait. Pulled up and checked the order. Sure enough, one cheeseburger, one quarter pounder deluxe. Sent the wife end to exchange. As soon as she got to the counter, they said they knew the mistake with the order. They remade the correct missing burger. They even gave her an extra cheeseburger. Here's the issue. The entire staff was very courteous throughout, so I am not sure how to star rate this. It would have been 5 stars all the way had we not been delayed and had to go in for a fix. The cheeseburger, I guess, was a token for the inconvenience but was not wanted or needed. The burgers once the order was correct were good. I really like McDonalds food, but they just can't get orders right the first time. This has happened at different locations with different orders. It is like asking for no onions on a quarter pounder is the clowns kryptonite or something. I look forward to either getting a correct order, where the food is all near freshly made (read as all food at least kinda hot and tastes like it hasn't been sitting forever) or maybe I just need to give up on it and move on to a competitor I don't like nearly as well but can get the orders correct. For the current prices, I don't feel like this...

I recently moved to the area and I've visited this McDonald's 3 times. The first 2 times everything was fine. The 3rd time was tonight (June 3, 2025) around 7pm.

The lady at the first window was polite and pleasant, but the lady at the second window was straight up rude. She gave me the food, closed the window and I waited for the drinks. Then she gave me 2 of the 3 drinks and told me to pull up to Drive Thru 2 to wait for the "strawberry milkshake." I'd ordered the strawberry mango smoothie, so I said "isn't it supposed to be the smoothie?" She didn't respond, so I looked at the receipt to verify that it showed the smoothie and not the milkshake, which it did. So I said that it was a smoothie. She rolled her eyes and said in a rude manner "yes ma'am the smoothie"

I pulled up there to wait for it and another employee came out and let me know they were out of that smoothie. He offered other alternatives, so we went with one of them. He was polite.

The lady at the second window made the whole visit a bad experience. She obviously did not want to be there and apparently took it out on the customers. I've read some other recent reviews and this rude person at the 2nd window was mentioned a few times. This store should address this as it makes for a bad customer experience.

As soon as I walk into this establishment at night I over here the most aggressive speech ever. The most cussing, and yelling for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I know of a young lady also who started working here, her first night turned out to be an absalute disaster of a night, from being cussed at for no reason to watching two people almost fight one another. To a lady saying she is taking no more orders leaving this young lady to take all the orders herself even with the establishment being overwhelmed by customers left and right, she had been forced to do it all herself. I do also have proof of all of this, the fact that humen decency is lacking more than anything in this building, and the fact that multiple people I know feel unsafe in this place is a disgrace. It makes me sick knowing this is how people treat one another in a place like this, I will never spend my money here again. Service here is horrible, I'd give it a negative 5 if I could. I have been cussed out as a customer as well, been told I'm wrong, yelled at, and refused the food i order the way I order it. I have been to well over at the least 15 mcdonald's if not more so far. Never have I been treated this way, or refused food being made the way I'd like...
