To start at the beginning, I've never met someone as dense as the employee taking my order, we had to repeat our order at least 5 times and it was 4 burritos, 2 of which were bean and cheese (1 of which he forgot to put cheese in) one was a bean, shredded beef and cheese burrito, which he got right, then a bean, carne asada and cheese burrito (he forgot the beans). After that, we ordered a large horchata and a large agua de pina, and he walked away, then came back and said "horchata and jamaica?" Which was met with "horchata and pina, please" he said okay and then walked away, and came back, but with horchata and jamaica. Then he talked to us to confirm our order, which we then had to repeat an additional 3 times to get right. And then, as you know, 2 of the burritos were wrong. Then the food, it was disgusting, I tried the carne asada burrito, realized it had no beans, tried a bean and cheese burrito and then realized it had no cheese. Then decided to eat the carne asada burrito until the soaking wet salad they through in the burritos soaked through the multiple layers of tortilla. And on top of all that, the beans were a mix of bland, somehow dry, and sweet, I can only imagine that is what wall plaster with sugar tastes like, it was awful, I would only go back to be able to laugh at the incompetence of the employee. Thank you...
Read moreFilibertos offers you two things: genuine Mexican food and great deals. In particular, I prefer to visit on Tuesday, when they offer their delightful "Taco Tuesday" deal. This allows you to get as many tacos as you want for only a dollar each. While this doesn't initially sound more impressive compared to other places that sell tacos, what you receive is far more substantial and filling than what you would find elsewhere. As a single father of seven, I always visit Fillibertos (or Filly B's as my adopted sons call it) to grab a big meal for my children which brings a smile to their faces, and sweet relief to mine as I don't have to spend time cooking. The staff is always kind and curtious and know my order by heart, plus they are involved with multiple charities, so you can always give a little bit to help the starving children while you fill up your own. The only downside is that everyday...
Read moreSorry, but first experience here was a thumbs down. My wife and I drove across town to try it and were the only ones at the drive thru. Sat at the window nearly 15 min after paying. Saw our food eventually be placed on a shelf for at least another 5 min while the person who took our order stood there playing on his cell phone. Then a girl walked past, grabbed a napkin, blew her nose in it, and while still holding the snotty thing, picked up our bag of food with the same hand and handed it to us. Then, while we sat there in disbelief, asked us rather condescendingly if we were alright. Got home and the items we ordered were unfortunately a bit sub par. Maybe a bad night, I don't know. But this is the type of customer experience a restaurant mgr should be aware of and working hard to avoid if wanting to win...
