The results are in, and we’re sharing which Chick-fil-A® menu items topped the list of most popular orders in 2020. Here’s a list of the most-ordered Chick-fil-A items across the country (based on data from Jan. 1 to Oct. 31), broken down by menu category.

Chick-fil-A Nuggets For three straight years, Chick-fil-A Nuggets have been the most popular entrée nationwide.

This may not be much of a surprise to our loyal guests who may pick up our nuggets for a delicious snack, as their main course or to feed the youngest chicken lovers in their family. These bite-sized pieces of goodness are seasoned to perfection, freshly breaded in our restaurant kitchens and pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil.

Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Since it was first invented in 1964, the Original Chicken Sandwich has become what we’re most known for. This year was no exception — this classic was the second most-ordered entrée in 2020.

The beauty lies in the simple recipe: a boneless breast of chicken, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips. Even though our menu offers variety so there’s something for everyone, this timeless entrée remains a fan favorite year after year…maybe because it pairs perfectly with our bold, crispy Waffle Fries.

Chick-fil-A Milkshake What’s not to love about hand-spun, delicious Chick-fil-A Milkshakes? Many customers wait for all year for our innovative seasonal offerings, including Peach and Peppermint Chip, which only stick around for a few months during the summer and winter, respectively. Featuring delicious Chick-fil-A Icedream® dessert and topped with whipped cream and a cherry, the most popular milkshake for the second year in a row was Cookies & Cream.

Chick-fil-A Chocolate Chunk Cookie For the first time, our Chocolate Chunk Cookie surpassed the Chick-fil-A Icedream® dessert. These cookies are sweet perfection, baked with both semi-sweet dark and milk chocolate chunks and wholesome oats.

Chick-fil-A Waffle Fries An age-old classic, our crispy Waffles Fries were our guests’ favorite side again this year. Fries are cooked until crispy outside and tender inside, making them the perfect companion for our Chick-fil-A® Nuggets. Their bold shape makes them unique and has won the hearts of Chick-fil-A guests across the country.

Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese In its first full year on the menu, this quintessential comfort food stood out from a wide range of options to become one of our most popular offerings. Last year, Mac & Cheese launched nationwide as Chick-fil-A’s first new side since 2016. Featuring a special blend of cheeses including Parmesan, Cheddar, and Romano, this side is baked in-restaurant to form a crispy top layer of baked cheese.

Chick-fil-A Hash Browns One of our many vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, Chick-fil-A signature “tot” style hash browns were the favorite choice for guests starting their day on a delicious note. It’s hard to believe these hearty potato medallions are only 270 calories.

Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit Many say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Chick-fil-A lovers will argue there is no better way to kick off the day than with the ultimate breakfast sandwich. Each one is served on a buttermilk biscuit that is baked fresh throughout the morning at each restaurant. Fun fact: From start to finish, it takes around 30 minutes to bake each batch of biscuits. Update 4 years later! The service is worse!!

I live less than 10 minuts from this location. It's very convenient. What's not convenient is the lack of attention to getting your order right. I have got my order prepared wrong, more times than not (how hard is no cheese!?). My order was put in wrong yesterday. I asked the girl at the window who I can talk to in order to get my order correct regularly. She said they just started 12 new people. They are too rushed to repeat my order back to me (the same girl told me I can ask to get my order repeated back if I want). I sit there and check my order before I leave. I ordered grilled nuggets and got regular yesterday because the order was put in wrong. I got my food and the same lady who told me they have 12 new people told me that she can refund my nuggets and then charge me for the grilled ones. Then asked me to pull around. I told her every time I do that the rest of my order is cold by the time I get home. She offered me new fries. I asked if she wanted the old ones back and she declined. I ordered large fries and the "new hot fries were a small! " so most of my fries were still cold!!

My co worker the other day ordered a salad and got a sandwich instead! She just went with it because she was on her lunch break (we work right down the street) and she didn't have time to wait for them to fix it. How many other people get home and their orders are wrong and they just don't say anything?

food but I frequent the drive thru and they are way too rushed to get you through the line. Sometimes 2 bags are handed to me at once and its hard not to drop my food. Not all the bags have handles and they are packed full. Since renovations, the new staff more times than not messes up my order. I check before leaving...

Lunch crew is AWESOME. Can't say enough about them. It can be crazy busy, and nobody shows signs of stress or frustration. Shout out to Edith, who always comes to the table to collect trash, get refills, check on how we're doing. Having lunch at the Cooper St. Chick-fil-A is like marrying fast food with full-service dining.

Dinner crew has a ways to go before reaching the level of service we get at lunch. Often we'll go in at 8-8:30 (an hour and a half to two hours before closing time) and a section will be entirely shut down to seating (oftentimes the one toward the restrooms, making it seem like one can't use the restroom).

I don't often order through the drive-thru, as I like to enjoy my food in the restaurant, but the few times I have driven through to get food have been great experiences. They have two lines, with speakers at the menus, but will usually station workers out with tablets to take orders--always staffing plenty of people to add the personal touch. If you think the line looks long--it's not! Even with several cars waiting to order, you'll be through in a few minutes.

The restrooms are always clean. If I have to change my baby's diaper, I feel comfortable using their changing table.

The overall culture of this location is the best I've experienced. They do little promotions here and there--I recently took my nephew to get ice cream at a free ice cream social they offered, they had cake one time for the owner-operator's anniversary, and they recently celebrated Ms. Edith's birthday (though I wasn't there for that one).
