If you want to be berated by an employee of Tony’s food truck named Ana who appears to be the boss of this food truck, then pay this place a visit. After waiting in the lemonade line (which only accepts cash payments, however there isn’t a sign making that clear), I was told that if I pay by credit/debit card I had to wait in the food line. I said I’ll get cash from my husband instead. As a 9 month pregnant woman whose husband was a short distance away with our other child I was calling him over to get cash for the lemonade line. Ana stared at me like a hawk as if my 9 month pregnant self was going to run away with the lemonade and she attacked me for not wanting to wait in the food line that was filled with 10 more people who were still waiting to place their food order just to pay by credit card. She said this is their process so I said ok, I’ll just pay cash as the lemonade line allows and I called over my husband. She took such offense that I questioned the sense of making someone who waited in the lemonade line and received her lemonade to then have to wait in a second line behind people placing a food order just to pay for the lemonade. It was such an affront to her that she said “you know what”?! It’s on me, and I said it’s ok, my husband has cash so I will pay in cash like your lemonade line accepts. She then told the poor girl who made my lemonade to refuse my money and she stood there to make sure she didn’t accept my cash and she made such a scene that it made everyone uncomfortable. I’ve learned when you’re dealing with irrational people, you just let them win, it’s not worth fighting with crazy. So I just said “ok, thank you” and I started to walk away. She then starts to cackle as I walk away and tells me “I hope you have the kind of day you deserve.” Who wishes bad karma on people especially a pregnant person? Thanks Ana, I will have a great day, because good...
Read moreI love Tony’s sausages! But my recent experience there was terrible! Left a bad taste in my mouth and will not be returning anytime soon. The lady and guy that were there were so rude, made my friend show them his bank statement proving he paid even though he did. Even their co workers told them that he paid but they didn’t want to believe their co worker or my friend and in my opinion it wasn’t our job to show proof by pulling up a bank statement to show we paid when you have a whole system infront of you that should tell you that. Ultimately waited 30 mins for a sausage and when we confronted them about having wait so long and how it was messed up that they made us pull up a bank statement she responded “was it actually 30 mins though” no apology, didn’t even offer us water while we stood in the heat waiting and yes it was actually 30 mins and does it matter? All of our sausages are cold at this point and my friend still hasn’t gotten his sausage and your embarrassing him infront of other customers claiming he didn’t pay and making him pull up his bank...
Read moreI think if you’re coming here to get a real good sandwich, you want to lower your expectations. It’s boardwalk food so it’s not expected to be really good. I had the chicken cheesesteak with peppers and onions and I will say that it was okay. I didn’t see any peppers and the taste really was a bit bland since there was no salt/pepper added and no mayo. Ketchup was on the side so it helped a bit with the taste. The French fries were really skinny though so I probably wouldn’t suggest it if you...
