We came in as 4 people, and our 5th friend was still parking. We sat down and waited around 5 minutes before the waiter came with menus. I ordered right away, but my 3 friends were still deciding which is normal. I got my food about 10 minutes later, and by that time he still hadnât come back to take their orders. I also asked for ranch with my food, but he never brought it until I had already finished eating. No drink refills either.
When my last friend came, the waiter ignored him completely and didnât try to take his order in a professional way. From the start, he was friendly and smiling to other customers, but with us he avoided coming to our table, looked annoyed, and wasnât welcoming at all.
At payment, he stood over me watching the screen and made a rude, unnecessary comment about tipping as a ânon-American,â saying less than 20% is an insult. Tipping is optional and based on service, and in this case he deserved 0 I still gave him $3 on a $20 bill out of kindness.
The bathroom story is not true the longest anyone took was maybe 10 minutes. Also, the two reviews are from two different people in our group, not the same person. Honestly, be glad all 5 of us didnât...
Read moreAvoid this place at all costs!!! The bartender was the most rude service worker I have ever encountered. Completely unprovoked he flipped out on my brother for the way he was dressedâŚ. Iâve never seen anything like it in my life. With all the great places in Aspen you would think they want to provide a great service for their customers but instead they yell at them over clothes. I would use some choice words to describe my experience but want this review to stay so others donât support this pathetic establishment. If that behavior continues they wonât last long and Iâll be happy about it. To management - the bartender previously worked at the W. I didnât get his name but would recommend termination based on his behavior, absolutely unacceptable and...
Read moreThe waiter was laughing and smiling at everyone, but when we walked in, he started ignoring us and acting like he didnât even see us. His face looked unfriendly, and he didnât seem interested in our order at all, cutting me off and not wanting to listen like we werenât even customers. His tone was rude and unwelcoming. When it came time to pay, I finally understood the whole thing he stood right over me, watching the payment screen, and said, âFor you as a non-American, anything less than 30% tip is an insult,â getting into my business and shamelessly asking for something he didnât deserve. Out of kindness and my own culture, I still tipped him even though he...
