Dear Google, before I start please change the hours to reflect that they are now open Saturdays. Was craving a hot bowl of pho on a cold day and found this spot by chance, decided to give it a try. Nice warm interior decor, easy ordering from touch screen menus for dine in or takeout. I ordered Pho Tai (thin cut eye round) to dine in and a chicken banh mi sandwich to go, food came out fast albeit it wasn’t busy. The pho had delicious broth, probably the best part as not too sweet nor watered-down and just the right amount of savory goodness. Average portion sizes and ratio of ingredients. Main drawbacks were noodles and serving presentation. The noodle texture was a bit too soft to start and was far hotter than the broth, not sure if it was freshly made while broth was simmering, or premade and reheated in microwave. In terms of presentation, the veggie toppings (bean sprouts, jalapeños, etc) came in a sandwich bag, plastic spoon, sauces in individual pouches, got the vibe this is more of a quick bite kind of place, or perfect option for takeout/delivery. Overall 8/10 would recommend. The Banh mi sandwich was delicious good portion of meat, would have preferred less carrot, more cucumber, and much more cilantro to balance it out but overall very satisfying. If you are in the mood for a quick bite of tasty Viet food and haven’t tried this place out, what are you...
Read moreHaving ordered a Doordash meal to include Ahn's Fried Rice which contains shrimp (they have photographed the item with shrimp in it as well as written it in the description), the item arrived with zero shrimp. This was quite disappointing and I felt cheated out of money. I literally selected that meal item for the sole reason of intention to consume shrimp. Rarely is it warranted for me to provide a terrible restaurant review as I eat out and dine out and order take out way more than the average person likely does so I feel distraught here. But honesty and integrity should be demonstrated and missing onion is a different situation than missing shrimp/protein. Meaning missing shrimp increases the severity of the situation, especially as it pertains to the consumer costs. I didn't pay for chicken only. I paid to have shrimp. With this being said, I also will be carving out the time to visit the store in person in the days to come to express my dissatisfaction (as my schedule allows) because I would really love to love this establishment. Last night's delivery was simply an awful experience and bad first impression for me. LIVID doesn't...
Read moreI'll start by saying the customer service is excellent. Girl at that register provided excellent service, however the quality of food has gone down TREMENDOUSLY. I work down the street and would get PHO here often. This time I ordered Pho Thai (rare beef) and added shrimp... The beef was completely cooked and dry, and they skipped the shrimp completely. There was also a hair in the bag with my egg roll. I immediately walked back and the young lady at the register went to have them remake it immediately. I checked the bag and everything looked correct. When I got back to my office and tried the food I was so disappointed. My noodles are severely undercooked, almost hard and spaghetti like. Made the meal impossible to eat. Unfortunately I may have to find a new fave pho spot...
