From the moment we arrived at Bloom Bar, I knew we were in for something special. Nestled right in the heart of Buckhead, with the rare luxury of free parking, this gem of a restaurant delivered one of the most unforgettable dining experiences Iâve had in my 10 years of living in Atlanta.
The aesthetic alone is breathtaking, modern, vibrant, and full of energy, but it was the service and the food that truly stole the show. We were lucky enough to have Bria as our server, and let me tell you, she was a dream. Bria not only knew the menu like the back of her hand, but she also made spot-on recommendations that turned our meal into an incredible culinary journey. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and sincere enthusiasm for the food made us feel like VIPs all night long.
We began with fresh water, Fresh Star cocktails, and mango margaritas, each one handcrafted and ridiculously delicious. Briaâs recommendations started with a bang. The lamb chop skewers, bravas, and chargrilled octopus were mind-blowingly flavorful. The meats were tender, perfectly cooked, and seasoned with so much love. Iâm used to overcooked lamb and rubbery octopus, but not here. The chef clearly takes pride in the craft, and it shows. Let me add the lamb comes with a cilantro Chimichurri and my mom absolutely hates Cilantro, but it was so good that she said that next time she comes, sheâs going to order possibly just The lamb skewers and a side of jollof đđđ Seriously, someone please give the chef a raise đđđđ«¶đœ
Then came the entrĂ©es. We ordered the oxtail pasta, the hen plate with plantains, the suya ribeye, and a side of jollof rice that might be the best Iâve ever had in my life. Every dish arrived hot, beautiful, and delicious. There was no weak link, just excellence all around.
As we wrapped up our meal, Bria surprised my mom with a birthday dessert celebration, complete with sparkles, that made her feel incredibly special. The entire restaurant seemed to pause to honor the moment. Between the thoughtful touches, vibrant music, and the buzzing, joyful energy in the air, we felt seen, appreciated, and celebrated.
From the hosts to the bartenders, kitchen staff, DJ, and of course, our phenomenal server Bria, everyone worked in perfect harmony to create a seamless and spectacular experience. No corners were cut, no details were missed. It was genuine hospitality at its finest.
If youâre looking for a place to celebrate something special, or just want to indulge in a truly outstanding meal, Bloom Bar is it. Book the reservation, request Bria if you can, and prepare to fall in love. Iâll absolutely be back.
Ps. The food was so good, We forgot to take pictures, Just trust me on this one. đđ«¶đœ Everything...
Read moreLetâs start with the atmosphere - this place is soooo beautiful, I was so in awe of how beautiful this place is on the inside! The location is not that bad. Parking is small, it was free up until 9, then it was $20 for valet. Parking is behind the building which I ddnt care for especially if your intention is to leave after dark but the they do have lighting so just be careful! Our waitress, she was very nice, she did a great job! The have outside seating, patio, which is beautiful and they have hookahs but u could only use outside, no problem with that! The outside is beautiful as well. The atmosyis definitely a 10! Definitely great for a date night. They had a DJ played some great music! The menu there was not a lot of options, prices was very reasonable! The salmon was great in taste but well you will see, smh! I was disappointed it is more like an appetizer but it defeated really good jus the plating I felt something was missing, my friend had oxtails and she tore them up, you hear me lol, they looked good she said they were really tasteful! The joloif rice was good as well, she gave me some with my salmon and it was really good with it! My other friend had the lamb chops and she said they were good as well. Her plate look like it was missing something. Maybe the idea was not to get you full just to get you started for your night out. I donât know, but the plating definitely needs work! Now this is just MY opinion! The drinks alright. But overall I give it a 5, I would definitely be back and I...
Read moreI went to Bloom on a Friday night, and the staff were incredibleâfriendly and attentive. The ambiance was relaxed yet stylish, with a cute and aesthetically pleasing vibe. I ordered the pornstar martini, which was honestly one of the best Iâve ever had.
For dinner, I ordered the lamb chops with fried rice, and my date had the beef suya. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold, and when they reheated it, it lost all flavor and became overcooked. I'm unsure why they didn't remake it. I had been considering hosting my birthday dinner there, but after this experience, thatâs definitely off the table and don't believe I'll ever go back.
EDIT: October 10, 2025
Okay, so I went back to Bloom on a Thursday night. I know I said I wouldnât, and for the record, the decision was entirely mine â no one reached out or convinced me otherwise. I was out with my girlfriend, and since she loves Pornstar Martinis, I wanted her to try theirs. My previous server recognized me and even thanked me for coming back, which was a nice touch.
I decided to give the lamb chops another try, and this time they were delicious. Next time, Iâll order them medium rare since I prefer my meat a little less done. We also ordered the jollof rice and beef suya, both of which were great. Honestly, their jollof rice might be the best Iâve had in a while; the spice level was perfect.
As always, the staff was attentive and kind. Iâll definitely come back on a busier night to see if the food quality...
