Went to Lost Dog last night to enjoy the night with some friends and ended up getting assaulted. Two of my friends began talking to two girls unaware that one of the girls had a "date" so when her boyfriend comes back he starts calling my friends and I idiots and other terms not approved for Google. He then puts my friend in a headlock. My friend managed to escape and while we were separating them the dude takes a swing at my friend knocking him to the ground. A bartender or bouncer instantly got the other guy taking swings and gets him out. Meanwhile as I'm helping my friend up I get grabbed from behind by a bouncer wearing a braves cap. He grabs me by the collar and starts pushing me all the way up the stairs toward the exit. My other friend who also was not involved in the swinging and I both explained we did not throw any swings and if they want us to go he can let me go and I'll walk out. Instead he continues to grab my collar and kick at my knees to try and speed my exit. Now, I've worked at a bar briefly in college and when fights happen you get everyone out so friends don't get in fights after you throw the initial roughians out. I get the logic up until the point we reach the exit and the bouncer decides to shove me out the door to the ground. You can ask people to leave the property without resorting to violence and I'm 100 percent positive a review of the cameras will show that I was not involved in the fight and the only ASSAULT that took place was against me. This establishment is skating a rough legal line when it comes to the handling of security. Once I was outside of the door the shove to the ground occurred not on thier property and technically constitutes criminal action. If I were as petty as some people civil action could also be taken against the employee and this "establishment" but instead I will choose to take the 40-60 dollars I personally spend along with my friends money and choose another place to enjoy beverages in Buckhead. It's a shame you let your lowest paid employees cost your bartenders good money and put your profits and reputation...
Read moreI came here my first night in from from Chicago and my first impression was how freezing cold it was as soon as you walked in. There’s no reason why heaters shouldn’t be put in place during the winter time to avoid this. it was so cold that the bartender was shaking as she was serving our drinks. Mind you it’s 20 degrees outside & feels the same inside because they have back & front doors open to the patios. There also was a BUNCH OF KIDS. Not my type of crowd but I was there w my younger family member. Nonetheless the music was trash but we stayed to finish our drinks. While standing around in the crowd comes a security guard pushing aggressively through everyone leaving the restroom or something not even in a hurry she’s just pushing thru everyone to the point where I looked back to see who was pushing me this hard. She yells to me MOVE. And I say its excuse me and she comes back & says you see my vest & I said it’s called respect.. a vest doesn’t excuse respect. And she didn’t like that so she says you know I can put you out right and she decides to put us out in COLD AND TRY TO FIGHT US all bc of her wrongdoing & pride. Mad, yelling over her coworkers shoulders as they are telling her to calm down. Her coworkers aren’t impressed by her either as they backed us up and said they 100% believe that happened and we weren’t wrong. She’s a rentacop who takes her job too seriously with her Amazon badge and vest. While talking to her security coworkers about how displeased we are and couldn’t believe that happened they kindly asked to do a review on the security company and not Lost Dog but I still will bc this is who y’all allow to patrol your business. This will do nothing but run PAYING CUSTOMERS away. It ruined my entire night and I do not appreciate this ghettoness while being out trying to have a good time. I really want to do a tik tok for my 100k followers...
Read moreThe place is cooler for younger people (mainly underage). That black wide female blue-eyed contact security guard with the grew out edged-braids looking like one of the gross sisters from proud family has the nerve. She said “I remember faces” when I took the purchased Red Bull with me outside the bar and I said “We’re never coming back”. This interaction is the reality of our night.
I’d rather go to the racist dive bar buckhead right next door. And mind you, this commotion at lost dog started over a purchased Red Bull from inside the bar. 1 out of 8 security guards at the door on a power trip standing around grabbed me. Lol what was he going to accomplish? Was he going to beat me up? Good job on security, y’all are over-staffed and bored. Use that money for something useful like paying the bartenders more since security can’t even do their job right.
Honestly I would’ve understood and complied if huncho hunch back lady was nice about it. But her telling us we should’ve finished the $10 Red Bull we just paid for at the bar to go downstairs to an overcrowded area with underage people shortly before the bar closes… And then telling us we have 30 seconds to finish it but we can’t stand outside to do it and we have to go inside but then we have 30 seconds to finish it. And telling us we’re taking selfies so get on??? Even when my friend was just taking a picture of the sign and she wasn’t the one drinking the Red Bull? Are you mad? wow. I god forbid would get a caprisun to-go from lost dog, and security is going to elbow drop me on concrete because they can’t use their head.
According to the law in GA, what I did was not illegal so they’re just pulling tricks out their rear for a pat on the back. Rather give my money for lost dogs to ATL scammers at this point. Like I said, when I say we’re never coming back, we’re never...
