Iâm one to look on the positive for every situation, try to give people the benefit of the doubt and Iâm a very respectable person when it comes to being out in public. However, my friends and I were racially targeted at this establishment based on our looks and I was celebrating my bachelors party with a very mixed group of people, all professional young adults. The guy in admissions took one look at the black people in our party and looked for any reason to deny them entry into the bar. The excuse âwe donât allow ripped jeansâ. However there was at least 7-10 people within viewing distance of the entrance that in fact had ripped jeans and when that was pointed out to the entry person he remind silent and looked away.
Completely unacceptable and itâs a shame that we have people like that in the world because it doesnât improve our communities in terms of race relations. I immediately told my group of young professionals we do not want to spend our money here and walked down the street to Five Paces and it was a better atmosphere in terms of number of people there so it worked out. I wouldnât recommend this place if my life...
Read moreRACIST establishment!!!! If you are a black male, avoid going to this bar at all cost. The bouncer would not let me in because I had on a graphic t-shirt, which is not on the list outside of the door. On top of that , I saw plenty of white people inside with PLAIN t-shirts on, which is prohibited according to the dress code sign. I decided to stand in front of the bar for a little while to observe who would be allowed in with t-shirts on, and of course ALL of the white males were let in and the black males were denied (exception only if they went in with a group of white males). The bouncer also allowed entry to white people who came straight from COLOR RUN... REALLY!?!?! I was overdressed compared to them! According to reviews published on other websites, this has been going on for years and I assume the owners agree with these actions, since the guy still...
Read moreThe ONLY place I've ever had anything stolen. I walked into this crap hole with friends who wanted to check it out. Walked to the back to check out the whole place and we immediately turned around to leave (it seemed way worse than a "dive bar") and walked straight back to the exit. I saw an atm in the corner by the exit and reached for my wallet in my purse, it was gone. I had it less than a minute earlier when I walked in and showed ID. So this theif got the only good picture ID I've ever taken and I think $4. It was such a hassle to go to the DMV, bank, and get new insurance cards... PLUS I couldn't visit any other bars without ID so the night was over. Not to mention it was my favorite wallet. We were seriously inside this crowded s#!thole for 40 seconds max before I realized my...
