Friendly service. Unique menu featuring mostly Turkey BBQ (that was surprisingly tasty- though it’s not bbq pork) and brisket. See menu photo. Trendy & modern atmosphere- this is a food court style booth located in The WorksAtl. Collards had a good amount of heat and good flavor/ texture. Macaroni and cheese was way too peppery for me (not kid friendly) and creamy would be better to tone down the heat on the meat and collards. North Caroline style vinegar based sauce was good (also a little spicy) but I preferred their “sticky” sauce that was more traditional style thick sweet sauce. (Like Stubbs sticky sweet) This place was on the pricey side for me at $31 for a bbq platter with 2 sides not including a beverage. 5 of us ate here for $130 and 2 ppl were sharing entrees! Very few drink options, a few can soft drinks to choose from or bottled water (no cups or ice) served in the can tepid temperature. If you’re in Atlanta, serve Coke products. I also wised there was seating / tables nearby. Just a bar which isn’t great for group dining. Outside tables available but it was too chilly so we walked all the way out of the food court into the mall hallway to find a table which made it difficult to go back for simple things like sauce or napkins. The mall tables have an odd fixed lamp thing in the way- you can’t see or talk to the person in front of you. Overall, the brisket was good (I prefer smoked and this is cooked on a griddle) but three slices for $31 is skimpy on value. I really want to like this place- mostly because the people seemed great and it has a good vibe. Not sure if I will be back though. Just need more value for price or some other reason that this place would stand out as exceptional.

The food was A1! As a NC native, it was so good to have a taste of home while I was on vacation. There’s several plate options depending on your budget. While waiting for my order to be ready, it was really nice to have the Food hall to walk through. Turkey options are scarce so it was great having this place as an available option!

N.C. BBQ made with turkey? I said, "Whatchu talking 'bout Willis?" I was surprised it was very good. He's got the seasoning right. Hushpuppies were on the money. He's providing a healthy alternative to pork. The portions are generous.

Doug's NC BBQ is a must-visit destination for any BBQ enthusiast! The macaroni and cheese was a highlight, with a creamy, cheesy goodness that will leave you wanting more. But the real showstopper was the ribs - they were fall-off-the-bone tender and full of flavor. The location is also a winner, with a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for families with kids. And the fact that it's connected to other shops and stores is a great bonus. Plus, the 2-hour free parking is a huge plus. My only complaint is that it was closed when I visited yesterday, but I'm eager to go back and try more of their delicious offerings. Overall, I highly recommend Doug's NC BBQ to anyone looking for a top-notch dining...

I was not sure at first to be brutally honest because i saw turkey and fish only on the menu, but once i scrolled down and saw the ribs i have gone back atleast twice since, the sauce is insane, and the ribs are so tender and sauced up the way i like them. ive lived in ga all my life im 28 ive eaten alot of bbq and this one of the best. the side of mac and chesse and slaw were very good as wel, amazing customer service and the guy threw a extra slab of meat bc i had to wait for my sides i mean im easy but you gotta apperciate that customer service. Excited to try the weeks and the other stuff as well on the menu, the desseets too are wonderful and a great...
